He just might. Harmon this season has greatly struggled at times with losing or giving his guy too much room off ball, and based off of the Morehead State video, that's one thing you can't do against these guys as most of their sets try to deliberately lull you to sleep and then use deception and offball movement to give their shooters wide open threes.

And while I'm not saying Justin is unplayable in this one, this is a matchup that will attack the defensive weaknesses he's had this season and so for him to be successful out there (and us too), we're going to need Justin to get back into his mid-season form where he was doing a good job of playing man defense and hitting open threes. He can't be the guy who has been out on the court the past month or so. And if he is, yeah, DGL will probably see some time out there today

Game one of play 40 minutes and defend and rebound !!!

I do like our chances as does Vegas, but this is not a game we can just show up and win.
And Please !!!! Don't get down 10 in the second half and think you can flip the switch and win, too dangerous.
We are the alpha dog to get to the sweet 16, win today and play whoever on Saturday.

I think we show up with our seniors knowing every game could be their last, and win comfortably. It's a Dain game IMO

When you take a look at our last five games and the last five games that Morehead played. We beat the five Morehead played we beat each team by 20 or more. Morehead our five they lose the five.

I am probably correct that they will hit a couple threes to begin. Once we get the train rolling there will be no stopping the Orange and blue.

There was some discussion a while back about whether or not it is better to play on Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday. I ended up settling on the opinion that Thursday/Saturday is better IF you win (at least your first game). Friday/Sunday is better if you might go down.

Well, we aren't goin' down! Excited to get this win, kick back and enjoy Friday's games and then gear up for a bigger showdown Saturday. If we show up and keep the energy/effort where it has been, we will easily win by double digits. No excuses!

I was there with my son, first in person look at the Illini this year for us.

Saw Ty practicing a lot of 10-foot baseline jumpers. I've never seen him take that shot in a game but it's in his wheelhouse.

Watched Morehead State before the Illini came out, they do have some size and Minix is a strong looking dude.

Going to the Mattress Factory before the game also.

Next year I'm going to have to remember to take these two days off of work. I'll have to go radio silent on all texts and social media until I can watch the game later tonight.
