Did anyone notice Cam Miller (#14) played? Per fightingillini.com:

2017 Redshirt Freshman
Made his Illinois debut in the opener against Ball State

He was the one who threw the ball during the failed two point conversion after the first touchdown of the season.

ILLINOIS + 6.5 is my upset of the week vs Nebraska.

Given what our offense has shown so far, I'd say we need a non-offensive TD to win. Personally, I'm rooting for a kickoff return. Which leads me to a trivia question:

Since Arrelious Benn mowed down the Penn St coverage team for a score in 2007, two Illini have returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Who are they?

I believe AJ Jenkins did one against Indiana...and maybe Josh Ferguson?

Was just out in downtown Champaign for happy hour and as the night progressed started seeing more Nebraska fans. Big group came into where I was and start a go big red chant....:hurl: Hope they have a great experience in town and a terrible time at the game tomorrow.

Not happy about this game on a Friday. College football should stay on Saturdays. I realize a whole herd of horses are out of the barn on this one, but wish My Team would take a stand and preserve Fridays for high school games!

Can't agree more. This Friday game thing sucks.

He was the one who threw the ball during the failed two point conversion after the first touchdown of the season.

Thanks! That explains why he didn't make the box score. I thought he might've handed the ball off.

That should still qualify as a pass attempt and getting him into the box score...

Presumably they credited the pass attempt to Crouch. Hey, Crouch is a more accurate passer than the statistics show!

[Dan, I don't know if I replied to the wrong thread or if you moved it, but I intended this topic to be a continuation of the discussion of the number of quarterbacks on the roster and that Pete DiNovo was reportedly the 5th string qb. Was curious who was ahead of him and was surprised that Cam Miller already played this year.]

Starting QB, and expected use of JG and CC

It's probably already been mentioned, but I was wondering who the starting QB is going to be and how/when we'll see JG and CC today.

Also, does anyone know approximately how soon after the game that BTN2Go will start airing the game?

Thanks! :illinois:
