How nice is it to see OSU and Michigan in the cellar? Their fans just have to wait it out until football season. This would really be huge for us. If we are a team capable of winning big in March and/or competing for a Big Ten title and we really believe we are beginning to "re-gel" with TSJ back to form, then there are a lot of games we can win on the schedule remaining. If the following results happen the rest of the week in the Big Ten...
Nebraska over Wisconsin tonight
Iowa over Ohio State tomorrow night
Indiana over Penn State on Saturday
Northwestern over Minnesota on Saturday (this one MIGHT be close, though...)
Michigan over Rutgers on Saturday (or the other way, who cares? LOL)
Michigan State over Maryland on Saturday
Wisconsin over Purdue on Sunday (I still think Bucky trips up again)
Illinois over Nebraska on Sunday (woohoo!)
... we'd be looking at these standings on Monday:
Wisconsin: 9-2
Purdue: 9-3
Illinois: 8-3
----------------
Northwestern: 7-4
Nebraska: 7-5
----------------
Michigan State: 6-5
Indiana: 6-5
----------------
Iowa: 5-6
Maryland: 5-6
Minnesota: 4-6
Penn State: 4-7
----------------
Ohio State: 3-8
Michigan: 3-8
Rutgers: 2-8
Moral of the story? Not sure if Wisconsin or Purdue on Sunday REALLY matters that much, but if Wisconsin loses to Nebraska tonight and we beat Nebraska Sunday ... it's game on for this title race.
TCU giving them a runThe ugliest floor in NCAA. Coming soon to a conference near you.
It’s because I took him 10+ in the last gameAnyone know what's going on with Tominaga? He points and minutes have been dropping off quite a bit over the last several games. Just 18 minutes and 2 points against Wisconsin
Optical illusion .... doesn't even appear to be flat.TCU giving them a run
He really got screwed a few years back when we shared the B10 title with Wisconsin after losing our entire coaching staff in the offseason. I think Gard won it, only because as usual, the 'experts' underestimated their talent at the beginning of the season. Underwood should have won it.On their merits, I would put it Collins, Brad, and then Gard at this point. I think Brad's going to win one soon so why not now?
It took until this year for me to realize that the markings on the Oregon court are silhouette's of trees. Didn't know what the hell they were trying to do their.

We HAVE to win our home games........we really really do...........I don’t think today goes down as the most important game of the year, but I do think the difference between a win and a loss today is staggering. Win and we are in GREAT position for a Friday start in the BTT (top 4), and still control our destiny for the regular season championship. Lose, and we’ve got work to do to stay out of the BIG “tier two”.
With each win, the next game becomes even more important. The Big 10 Champion target gets more realistic and one of the teams we’re chasing is going to lose today. So lets keep piling on the wins and see where this goes.I don’t think today goes down as the most important game of the year, but I do think the difference between a win and a loss today is staggering. I understand the gist of your comment but I will say, we are not tier two - even if we lose. A home loss is important not to pick up as it would require us to pick up another road win. A loss today would likely knock us out of the championship race. I care more about NCAA success than a B1G championship. However, we need to keep competing for it until the final week to maintain our competitive spirit.I don’t think today goes down as the most important game of the year, but I do think the difference between a win and a loss today is staggering. I don't know, I think this one is worse . . . much worse.I left the phot large so everyone could get the full nauseating view. It's the first macro-scale Rorschach test in college basketball history. I see... chaos and despair in both the low and high posts. Gives fresh meaning to "camping out in the paint."
We ran zone for 1 maybe 2 plays that game as I recall. IU turned the ball over when we did.We just ran zone during 1st half of IU game and it helped. Hummel finally mentioned it close to half.
Feel like we'd be 18-3 or better right now, if we gave NW, PU, and Marquette some different D looks and get them out of their rhythm. But anyway, it's good we might have zone now, because penetrating guards/tons of cutters appear to be a kryptonite for our switch all D.
I almost say it's worse because of the brightness on the TV when watching. Oregon is bad, but not as straining on the eyes for me.TCU giving them a run
