I think you're right. Add to that..........Ole Miss beat Grambling by just 2 pts at home. For those voters who followed the preseason games, that narrow margin won't help us either. But I'll speculate we land at #24/25.

This is never a conversation I thought we needed.

I wonder if it's a generational thing.

I believe baseball has conditioned me this way.

When a pitcher goes 6 innings and pitches to one batter in the 7th without recording an out, he pitched 6+ innings. This denotes that he did pitch in the 7th, but didn't get any outs.

Depends on the context.

"Illinois basketball has won 20+ games in 5 straight seasons.", means we've won at least 20. (In this example the range happens to be 20-29, but if we had beaten UConn, it would still be true that we've won 20+ games in five straight seasons).

In the example above when quoting costs, "$40k+" should mean 40 and change. Imagine if you quote 40+ and then the final invoice is 70k or something. Bad business.

But then, if I were to inquire about the cost of a home golf simulator, for example, I might be told that the cost for a proper set up is $5k+. Meaning, at minimum, I should be prepared to spend 5k but depending on all the bells and whistles, it could be 2, 3, 4 times that.

You want it to mean that, and can understand it to mean that. Unless 50 is not actually more than 40 I am in fact nearly correct. The folks who pointed out that 40.0000000000000000001 is also 40+ are literally correct. 40+ can be 40+ any number, even higher than 10.

I think Boswell will always be on floor as he is our only guard defensive stopper. I am hopeful that Tre White and Morez will our stoppers on front court.
