For those of you watching the Iowa/OSU game, did you notice in the ad for our game vs. OSU, they said, “Kofi !!!!-burn”???Seriously, FS1? It’s his third damn year. Learn to pronounce the man’s name.
Not surprised smh there are only a few decent commentators out there. I wish Hummel called all our games. IMO he is not only great to listen to with his vast bball knowledge, but he is also very likable, would have a couple of beers with and he never comes across as smug or condescending in any of the games I've listened in on (you hear that Jay Bilas? Its quite a concept that most Dukies are allergic to. )

Anyways I hope we destroy the tO$U acorns or whatever their goofy name is. GO ILLINI!

I did not realize that we were still tied with Purdue in the loss column. Would love to see RU knock them off tomorrow, as I would much rather share a conference title with Rutgers (who's never won one) than with Purdue (who has the most all-time) or Wisconsin (who has 19 vs. our 17). The fact that we are now tied with PU again (at least until tomorrow) and will be tied in the loss column with whoever might pick up any more wins this weekend has me PUMPED UP for this one!

Hoping our disappointingly-blue-and-gray crowds are completely clad in orange and have SFC rockin' when the Buckeyes come to town. We are perfectly capable of winning out, earning a 2-seed and playing in Milwaukee and Chicago. Let's go frickin' do it!

I vote for RU knocking off Purdue; Wisconsin losing @ Rutgers and v. Purdue; Purdue further losing @ MSU; Rutgers losing @ Michigan or @ IU.

And the Illini winning out, and taking the title by a full 2.

That's it. That'll make me happy.

Any word on Harper Jr availability for Rutgers after hand injury?
Announced Thursday his playing status is day-to-day. Haven’t seen anything more current…

That will leave Kofi and Trent to guard the other four guys???
It will take all four throughout the game.
Yeah, not RJ - Liddell is even bigger/stronger than Harper. Go with man strength (DMW), and some length (CH) mixed in. Dude’s a tough matchup for anyone.

Liddell is my favorite non-Illini player… still hurts he took his skills to Ohio.
I Think DMW will try and stop Branham he is 6’5 Liddell will get his points cannot let the supporting cast beat us

If Liddell played for Illinois with Kofi that would be the best front court in America by a long shot but he liked O$U football

Branham is more of a concern to me than Liddell for some reason. Liddell is always motivated to play us, but Branham seems to 'stir the drink'.

Anyone else a bit worried about this one? OSU was a tough matchup for us last year. They beat us in Champaign before we beat them twice, but every time it was a tough, ugly, grind it out type game. I have a feeling this one will be similar.

They are a different team than last year no Washington and Sueing and Towns haven’t played all year. They are still very good

I worry about every game. None of them are gimmies.

OSU is a good team. Michigan is loaded with talent and we play at their place. And I think Iowa is starting to come on strong.

DMW played great defense on Liddell in the BTT championship game last season. I think between him and CoHawk, they can do a good just shutting him down. Trent on Branham? Easy job stopping the freshman. And Key is no match for Kofi. Glad they don't have Washington and CJ this year. I think this will be easier W than we think

Hummel was also an illini fan growing up but Weber didn't recruit him, what a shame!

This has always seemed juvenile and sophomoric to me. Liddell went to OSU because he likes the football team? Really??? Freshmen from rural Ohio who are undecided majors and drop out after 1 semester choose their schools that way, not future NBA players. Am I the only one who thinks this?
