Brutal loss to NU and big win against Wisconsin. With this roller coaster of a team, I see a similar pattern with a win over OSU.

Have we ever had a collection of worse free throw shooters? Perrin bucking his two made me laugh (I remember people saying he was a bad ft shooter, just funny to me).

If we took away Shannon’s fts I’d have to assume we are the worse percentage ft shooting team in the country. Maybe some SWAC teams got us beat but it’s gotta be close.

Anyways, I think we win against OSU, because their mascot is a ****ing nut.

I’ve given up on truly expecting consistency from this group - not THAT unfair for a team of mostly transfers and freshmen… - but you just got embarrassed at home and you’re hosting a team on a skid who’s desperate for a win. If you can’t come out with focus and intensify here, it’s essentially back to after the NU loss.

We need a couple days off … Got guys sick … Legs are a little dead … Brad NOT a fan of how the calendar shakes out this year …
Completely agree. Having Friday, Monday, and Thursday games in 7 day span was a tall order when I initially saw schedule, especially with IU having 5 days in between games.

Will be nice to have a more rested squad than OSU Tues. I expect a more polished Illini product and victory.

Need to win our next three going into Iowa. Would put us at 16-6 (7-4), which would be solid. Goal should be to try and get to 21/22 wins and then get hot and make a deep run in march
One game at a time, but the Saturday rematch against Wisconsin will be huge, especially with Wahl playing.

Take care of business at home vs OSU and Nebraska. Win at Kohl Center, then we really have something going.

It all starts with getting back on track Tues.

Before the Wisconsin game I said I would like to win 12 (or more) out of the last 17 games. So far we are 4-1. Lets hope Tuesdays home game is win number 5!

This Ohio State team is struggling. 5 game losing streak and they won't be big favorites on Saturday vs Iowa. They've lost to Minnesota and Nebraska. Must win for us.
