My place of work is technically closed but my job is one that doesn't generally respect working hours, so I'll probably be working but I'll have freedom to take a break for the game.

Watching College Game Day today they went over top teams, top point guards, top passers, top shooters, and even top big men. No mention of any Illini. How is Kofi not even mentioned. They even talked about transfers making a difference. No mention of Plummer. They were slobbering all over Purdue and their players. I would hope that would light a fire under our guys and they make a statement on Monday.

I sort of feel Payne is key in this game Kofi can not play 40 minutes against Eddy and Williams. It seems to me that Payne would be a better match up on Williams who is a great passer and will be put away from the basket some. Kofi is more athletic than Eddy and has much better post moves. Unless the refs just go foul crazy. I would try to make that the match ups. We will play less Payne than they do Williams, but Kofi will need help in this game.

Yeah, I don’t get it. I feel like the 20 point loss to Cincinnati is what everybody bases our season off of. We haven’t really beat anybody from the upper echelon yet, but hopefully that ends on Monday.

dj bald head ref was reffing a game today also........we haven't seen lil BO peepee for a while...........................ugh............................It really doesn't matter much anymore who refs our games as they all are horrifically terrible................................

Yeah, considering that the next game isn’t until Friday I wish the game was on Tuesday evening. Gives them another day of rest which may be beneficial since many people have opined that Kofi and maybe a few of the others looked kind of gassed the last two games and Trent is playing so many minutes. On the other hand, will one day make that much of a difference to these young men in the prime of their physical lives? I don’t know.

Exactly what I’ve been thinking. DVR the game or find a replay. Plenty of people have to do that no matter what time game is played.
