They only care about fans $$$, and miserable fans don’t spend $$$; therefore the DIA does not care.On that note - DIA owes us miserable fans. Do whatever you have to do, including free student tickets, to get a packed house for your last home game.
Depressed fans will spend $25-50 for a good ticket, and depressed students will still show up for free! They only care about fans $$$, and miserable fans don’t spend $$$; therefore the DIA does not care.
I totally expected this performance against Iowa, then Nebraska, but got blindsided today.Difference is I was do looking forward to today with enthusiasm, now looking forward to next week with the knowledge they could lay another one just like this.
Saturdaze, who in the DIA hurt you? You've been on a crusade against them all year. Not saying you're wrong.. just curious. They only care about fans $$$, and miserable fans don’t spend $$$; therefore the DIA does not care.
This team plays better with a half empty stadiumFrom our perspective, it’s still for the division … how do we respond? Honestly, the saddest thing about today might be that it will depress crowd turnout next weekend in an absolutely pivotal game where we need our fans.
Can someone just tell me personallywhat I want to hear: that Coach will get everyone’s act together over the course of the next seven days.BEAT PURDUE.
I think they were looking ahead a bit and took the game for granted. Maybe a lot of pressure on them to be an elite team or a very good team like a Michigan, etc. The media has been hyping them up as a possible CFP team and that’s just way too soon. They aren’t ready yet for that. They are a good team but not at that level yet. You have to remember, it’s only Bielema’s 2nd year. Things take time to build up. Just come back next week and win!Can someone just tell me personallywhat I want to hear: that Coach will get everyone’s act together over the course of the next seven days.
I fully understand that it wasn’t a season ruiner, just like Indiana wasn’t, but I am in such a foul mood I can’t let it sit like this until Saturday. Someone give me some confidence we will figure out whatever the heck it was that happened today.
Today those included the offensive line, the defensive line, the kickers, the kickoff returners. Did I miss any? The two lines were a surprise given their performance to date.I totally expected this performance against Iowa, then Nebraska, but got blindsided today.
Now we have a better sense of what the weaknesses of this team are.
Offensive play calling especially in the red zone?Today those included the offensive line, the defensive line, the kickers, the kickoff returners. Did I miss any? The two lines were a surprise given their performance to date.
Same. You called it. Thought DeVito would be more impacted by the wind than Thorne. I thought otherwise. But you were dead on.I totally expected this performance against Iowa, then Nebraska, but got blindsided today.
Now we have a better sense of what the weaknesses of this team are.
A weather scenario where TDV is capable of throwing the ball more than 5 yards will be a big help.
Yes I realize BB wants to support his staff, however it is SO apparent this is a problem area the head coach needs to act. Not saying relieve him, but a firm understand ING of what must change is needed.Offensive play calling especially in the red zone?
Stop...just stop. The sky is not falling.God, it feels weird to be yanked this abruptly down to Earth.
Yesterday, I texted my buddy in Pasadena (who gets discounted tickets as a resident) this: “It’s a long shot, but if Illinois makes it to the Rose Bowl, [Mrs. Fighter] can’t go … if you let me crash with you for free, I’ll absolutely buy you a ticket and make you go with me!”
Today, I’m just nervous that my wife’s first impression of Memorial Stadium next week will suck with about 43k in attendance and that we might actually lose. I’m really hoping against hope that the stadium is pretty full just for her sake.
Eh, such is life in college football when you aren’t OSU, I guess? Only thing to do is move forward.
Both teams putting in work to make it happen today.ESPN2 at 11AM... That feels more natural, unfortunately.
