Hopefully Mulcahy's face is a participant. This will be an absolute fistfight
My 5 year old son saw him flopping around and whining last year and said "Dad, that guy's a weiner". I think he meant whiner, but since then, every time we see him, we call him a weiner.Hopefully Mulcahy's face is a participant.
Will it, though? Notre Dame is a much better team than Rutgers (allegedly, it's still early). If we keep the energy and don't get anyone else sick or hurt, I think we are just fine. This will be an absolute fistfight
throwing up and feverWhat's up w/ Hutch? Never heard why he was out today. Any word if he'll be available for Rutgers?

I'm eagerly anticipating the Goode vs. Evil match up! Go Illini!Hopefully Mulcahy's face is a participant.
Please, more posting from you, and often!First time I've commented on Loyalty in three years. Hope everyone is doing good.
Reflecting back on the Notre Dame game, Illinois did a good job of passing the ball around and we saw good ball movement. Didn't let the ball stick, as the assist numbers showed. Would like to see that continue going into Friday against Rutgers. Seems like Geo Baker and Ron Harper Jr. have been there 50 years. Can't overlook them.
Given how Goode and RJ played against Notre Dame, I expect more tick out of those two. I'm impressed with those guys. Future looks bright with the length and athleticism they bring to the table.
Go Illini!
Baker was hurt and might not play tonight against Clemson. We'll see what happens on Friday.First time I've commented on Loyalty in three years. Hope everyone is doing good.

He’s shown NBA scouts more than enough. Sitting out the rest. What's up w/ Hutch? Never heard why he was out today. Any word if he'll be available for Rutgers?
First time I ever thought I'd seen murder by hammer fist.I nominate Kofi.
I’m sure it’s exaggerated over time, but my memory is that under both Lou and Bruce we so often rolled during the pre-conference season just to flop in early conference games and put ourselves in a hole. I recall at least one late Lou year where we may have even been undefeated in noncon and then missed the tournament.I had a vague impression that we've been pretty bad in our Big Ten openers for awhile now, and it turns out I was right. Going back to the beginning of the John Groce era (previous 9 seasons), we are 2-7 in our first conference game. Yikes.
I really want this win against Rutgers. A steady diet of Kofi, Plummer, 3-pt shooting from others, and good ball movement should do the trick.
