Luke will still play a lot. All the guys understand that he likely is the best wing in the country. It also helps guys not have to play 35 plus minutes every night, which will help in the long run.
I'm pretty positive that some of Domask's TO's have come from being tired and having too much offensive usage on his shoulders. I think we will see those go from far too many to an acceptable rate.

Those fantastic UNC....ummm....errr....classes paying off? 😂
Yeah the PUKE fans tried to say JR couldn’t Reid…but Tyler Hansbrough is the one who’s a real dope.

If you put Bill Laimbeer and Grayson Allen in a blender…and sprinkled in some Beechnut and Missouri Hillbilly you’d come out with Tyler Hansbrough.

I’m not surprised our style of play isn’t his cup of Pabst Blue Ribbon in a beer cozy…with a side of Vienna sausages served on a rusty tv tray. Roy’s whole thing was trying to beat everybody down the court.

I’m 100% sure Luke Goode knows TSJ should start. He’s one of the top 10 players in college basketball if not better than that. Luke will get his minutes.
I am not talking about minutes played. I am talking about who starts. Luke knows he is not TJ but he has been out and Luke stepped up and did hid job. As Brad just mentioned he is not messing with the current chemistry

He just isn't interested enough in the Illini to pay attention or watch any of our games ... he was saying similar stuff last year, with the same "kid giving a book report who obviously hasn't read the book" vibe
hopefully the book isn't Chicken Little

Have to admit, I was an early doubter of this team when TSJ went out in late December. However.......

Just like the 1989 squad when Kendal Gill went down for several weeks, this team has gotten even stronger during his absence. I could never have fathomed how big of a leap we'd see from Domask, Guerrier, Rogers, Goode, Harmon and Hawkins. This team is really loaded from 1-7, and we even have serviceable depth well beyond that!

Prediction: TSJ does not start, but enters the game after the first TV timeout on Sunday.
Agree. Pre-suspension they seemed only theoretically deep. Now they are actually deep.

I have this feeling Terrance might struggle a bit tomorrow. Maybe too jacked up? Too much attention focused on him? Hope not, but it wouldn’t surprise me. The kids gone through a lot.

Does anyone else get a vibe with TSJ like Jimmy Chitwood joining the team in Hoosiers?
