My apologies if this has already been brought up but I'd have to think that TSJ may play some limited minutes tomorrow. Even if he was able to practice at Ubben during the suspension, practice speed and game speed are two different things.

It's not like he was hurt and unable to do anything though. It's only been a couple weeks off games where he is still working out a high level and was already one of the best conditioned athletes in college basketball. I think he will be just fine.

Robbie Humble…yuck. Looks like I’ll be turning the tv sound down and listening to Brian Barnhart tomorrow.
If you want a completely homer broadcast, then certainly crank up the radio feed. Hummel is a top notch color analyst and calls the game as he sees it. You couldn't ask for a much better color analyst for a Sunday afternoon telecast that is not on CBS.

I don't think he starts. Coach said he doesn't want to break the chemistry that these guys built whil TJ was out. I think for a game or 2 he4 may just come off the bench and get in the flow

This could be a trap game. Rutgers always gives us fits, and the club might be pretty distracted with tsj's return and how each one fits into the offense now that papa bear has returned. We're inserting a 20+ game scored into a mighly meshed team that really has it rolling. Stepping back and deferring would not result in a good outcome.

Stay focused Illini! Don't need another Maryland...
I relied to a similar post about Maryland being a trap game. Being ignorant and arrogant, I purported that the Illini should blow Maryland out of the gym.

Having typed that, I have not learned my lesson and truly believe the Illini will cover and "blow Rutger out of the gym."

This is true. They also have very different roles, as Hummel is a color analyst. The correct comparison would be Hummel vs. Thomas.
Your correct.......but Hummel butts in too much for me....reminds me of Jim Edmonds when he does Cardinal games........

Hummel is better than Deon or Doug A. but I'm in heaven listening to BB and whoever on the Illini network....I really really am....JMHO

My dream is to record the video on youtubeTV and the audio from the illini sports network, then synch the 2.

This season has been great as far as little if any sync problems between audio and my streaming video.....

I have found out it works best if your take the video OFF the green live status icon ...

Usually the only time I ever have a small problem is starting the second half sync'ed up...the last dozen or so games I never have to adjust anything......I always click radio on Dan's first post in the game thread....I already have a second window open and click loyalty again and that's where I click the radio button....that way I can watch and listen on one loyalty window and post on the other....

I'm amazed that anyone listens to the network announcers when you can listen to Brian B. and Deon or Doug....it feels to me like I'm there at SFC...

It really really does...
