Saw someone else call it the Extremely Orange Bowl.
I was actually thinking this would be a great color rush game. We wear orange/navy/orange, Tennessee wears their traditional white/orange/white.

Could also see Tennessee wear gray or black alternates and we go all orange or orange/orange/white with arched Illini.

We’re home team then?

Always surprised when I see this list how few SEC teams we actually have played.

And as an old-timer, that '82 Bama loss still gets to me, one of the most unique games you'll ever see. Was Bear Bryant's last game which made it a huge national story, Mike White was just starting to build what became as big of a Illini fan interest as we've seen (see 70,000 plus at Memorial Stadium), and that game would likely have been an Alabama loss if not for Kris Jenner replacing an injured Tony Eason for three plays and throwing interceptions on all three. Just as wild of a game for a "minor" bowl game as you'll see.

Looks like more tickets available at reasonable prices than I figured. Thought we'd get 40,000-plus Tennessee fans. That fan base is probably pretty disappointed with how their season went from having Georgia beat except for a missed FG and then ending by getting drilled by Vandy at home.

Ticket prices must be dynamic. In the last hour several sections that were $115 are now 143, and a lower bowl corner that was 150 is now 177. I would recommend getting tickets if you're thinking about it.

Honestly, I have no idea if we're home or away. I thought of the idea thinking that it wouldn't matter who the designated "home" team is.
