I think they beat TT.

I do realize it's early and destroying two tomato cans was expected; however, I think this team just may be different.

Yes, I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, but I am very confident the Illini will win road games against PSU, Nebraska, Iowa and NU without serious worry.

They beat Maryland this year by double digits, should be favored for their home games and can surely win at PU, UCLA and MSU.

Not sure how good Missouri is, but they better play their best in St. Louis.

I think playing at OSU will be a big tell. Win that game, and it could be a special year in the Big Ten.

Even though Tomi is a better offensive player than Z, I think it’s possible that Illinois is better as a team with a Z/Mirk tandem than Tomi/Mirk because the offense can still flow thru Mirk in a similar way Tomi does it, but with better defense at the rim

As much as I hate to be without Tomi, think Z can do enough to still give us a good chance in the front court. The one guy I don’t see us being able to tread water without is Boswell (knock on wood) so need to wrap him in bubble wrap at practice. Still like our chances in this one.

Just a killer heading into this Tech game without Tomi, a rusty and limited Miahilo, and a very rusty Andrej... We have enough talent to still compete but man does it suck not to be whole.

I think we drop this one in a close strongly competitive loss. Just way too much firepower from our lineup either missing or not yet ready to compete. Starting Jake Davis is fine against the Florida Gulf Coasts of the world, but Texas Tech is going to exploit his lack of athleticism from the get go. Our young players will gain a lot from this game either way.

Tomislav won't go for this one. Likely out at least a couple of weeks.

Miahilo has a chance, will depend on how he reacts in practice. He's getting a lot closer.
