Any of the 64 that will be in after the play in games could beat us. So we can't be picky. Having said that Texas/Xavier as an 11 seed is as good as we could ask for. Win that one and we see what we are made of against KY. Anything after that is too far out to worry over right now. Deal with the first weekend first.

If I had to guess, I'd guess that Illinois will play in the early evening session on Friday, with Kentucky getting the late slot (in a game that would be less anticipated to watch, so after primetime).

Frankly, no, the play-in winners have been by a country mile the most likely first round upsetters since the play-in game was introduced, with the theory generally being that they've had a game to get accustomed to tourney-ish spotlight and intensity.

We'd have much rather avoided a play in winner, but so it goes.

Awesome draw - feels like a power 4 11seed gets hot from the play in games every year - let’s just step on their throats and make it clear who belongs in front of hopefully very orange crowd

Honestly north Carolina fits the profile of a team that will be in the play in game and can go on a run to sweet 16. Ole Miss is good but can be beaten. Iowa State has a key player injured. And North Carolina is controversial last team the field with talent that had underperformed all season so logic goes out the window and go on a run. Or they lose on the play in game, lol.
