I saw multiple comments on social media about how this was a bad draw because of Texas this and Xavier that, lol ... it's like, dudes, this is the NCAA Tournament!! If we don't show up, we'll lose. Even last year's memorable #3 seed looked like they were in trouble in the First Round for a bit. Everyone there is fighting for their lives.
With that said , and as you said ... how could we have EVER hoped for a better draw?? What #11 seeds are clearly better matchups?? What #3 seeds are materially less scary than Kentucky?? And in Milwaukee?!?! This should kill any anti-Illini conspiracy theories, because for two years in a row, we have received about the best path to the Elite Eight we could hope for, given our seed.

Nope. The jinx is a good shooting night after which our players think offensive production will be served to them on a platter in the next game even though the opponent is a team that took them behind the woodshed in the first meeting.

I went with 7 seed because future me is running this simulation and he likes to f&ck with current me….and I knew he couldn’t put us on an 8.
So basically I tricked the simulation to give us a 6.

Session 2 - 6PM and 8:45 tips
Session 3 - Second Round
I'm going to all three sessions, but I believe you can buy just one. Could be a bit more difficult.
