Check Seat Geek, you can buy parking ahead of time there.Dumb question, but bringing my Son's to our first Illini game ever. What would folks recommend for parking? Purchasing something before I come?
They meant west, and specifically probably talking about the Trade Center (has "Wolfram" and "Weber and Thies" signage) lot to the southwest of Kirby/State St.East?
In an objective sense, yes. We're (maybe) a better team, the opponent is better, the chance to be on national TV and get the stink off of last week's appearance on national TV, etc. When we win Saturday will it be bigger than last year Mich win?
FWIW, there are different listings for game tickets and parking.Check Seat Geek, you can buy parking ahead of time there.
Awesome! Did just that and bought a ticket for Lot 49. Gonna walk around and try to check out a bit of everything around the area as we really don't get to visit Champaign ever. Definitely going to try and stop and have a beer with a few fellow folks tailgating.Check Seat Geek, you can buy parking ahead of time there.
FIFYOh how things have changed. Two weeks ago people here had us undefeated playing Ohio State with College Game Day here, while we're positioning ourselves for the playoffs.
Now, it's the us versus the world attitude needed to beat a fringe top 25 team in USC.
The damage REALITY can do to UNFOUNDED OPTIMISM is real.
would be the best regular season scalp of Bret's tenure probably.
Huh?
#7 Penn State, 2021. Their other losses that year: #3 Iowa, #5 Ohio State, #7 Michigan, #12 MSU. Beat #12 Wisconsin and #22 Auburn.
That PSU team ended up winning 7 games and had a worse SP+ than Minnesota who we beat that season. USC will win at least 7 this yearHuh?

We agree and that's what PSU ended up at while losing to the 64th best team by SP+ at home (us), the 22nd best team, the 26th best team and the 27th best team. That Auburn team ended up finishing 29th by SP+ too. En total they ended up 19th, behind Minnesota at 18. They were a good team, but I'd be surprised if USC doesn't finish better by the end of the year. They’ll win at least 7? They’re 4-0 I sure hope they can find a way to finish the season 3-5 if they’re the best regular season win Beilema’s had.
Issues with Oline against indiana were bad technique and poor communication. Both of these fall mainly of poor prep by coaches. I am shocked that after playing 13 games together last year and 3 this year that both technique and communication are poor. That’s why he won’t be here next season

It's close and perhaps even bigger for the football program. After last week's showing, a win here would be a great statement that we are for real as a program and save face on national TV and with recruits.
That said, the Michigan game was really a big step for us. It was a great showing for a national audience and the 100th Anniversary of Memorial Stadium.
The challenge is, past games are quickly forgotten, and one could say this game, the Washington game, tOSU games all could be the 'biggest' once they roll around. If we beat USC, then get destroyed by tOSU and/or Washington, this game will be forgotten. BUT, a win here would really help change the trajectory of many things for Illini Football after last week.
