Even though you handed Purdue there a**, it's never a time to get overconfident because everybody seems to show up for Illinois no matter where we are playing.. Purdue tried to show up hahaha
They really do have a lot of good talent to throw at teams. Having this situation with Desmond Claude where he is 'stepping away from the program to focus on his health' claiming a knee injury and the comments from his coach saying we have a good medical staff here, etc is obviously not a good development for them. But, could be addition by subtraction there (you just never know)
Legitimately think they’re better with Zoom and Mandaquitt with a really good big and surrounded by shooters than they are with Claude.

I'm not a big believer in "trap games", but if there is such a thing, this is it. Washington placed square in the middle of a huge win at Purdue and enormous road game at Nebraska.
Once the comedown happens from the "Wagler game", we have some major issues to clean up. Get get outscored 26-4, in any half, in the paint. Allowing 57% from the field and only turning them over 3 times would have been the theme is Keaton didn't go nuclear. I'm still in awe.
Brad is going to have to get our guys locked back in, which won't be easy after today.

I don't believe that this is a trap game. We're too good to let them hang around. Am I wasted on Orange Kool-Aid/booze/eddies right now? Absolutely. Here's to one of the, if not THE best season in our school's history. Only time will tell, but I have a very strong feeling that this is our make-up year for 2021. And 2005. The main thing you should understand about paradoxes is that you have to lose to gain. 2005/2021 was our loss. Now it's our time to gain. 83-69 O&B
