Just picked up tickets. I thought it was going to be outrageous, but there are some cheap upper level tickets available.

Really excited to see this team live again! Was at the Bragging Rights game, but getting back to SFC with the kiddos I just couldn't pass up. The one thing I'll be watching for this game is if they can force a few more turnovers. Even just a couple more turnovers per game the rest of the way out would be big for us come tourney time.

Hopefully play within himself, share the ball in the absence of Boswell, knock down open looks and don't force anything.

We need to start removing ourselves from the Purdue game now. It was awesome and none of us will ever forget it.

That said, we can't survive getting outscored 44-14 in the paint, letting up 57% shooting from the field, only forcing 3 turnovers and getting destroyed on the points off of turnovers category. We can't rely on 18 made threes and a guy putting up 50.

All of that needs to be addressed. I'm glad we have the extended time off because it will give Brad time to reset things.

What these Huskies are needing is a little obedience training, provided courtesy of Brad Underwood and the Illini next Thursday night. Illini win by 12.

He'll be normal again, because he won't need to put the whole team on his back in this one.
Yep. He’ll shrink back to 20 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds. We then will speculate that he’s hit the freshman wall or that he is regressing to the 156th-rated player in his class. Some will claim they knew all along he wasn’t really all that good. 😂

I know we always say this. But seriously, please no letdown here.

This UW team has legitimate talent at all spots on the floor. Really need to bring it
Can confirm.

They’ve been on the verge of figuring it out for a few weeks now.

Kepnang and Steinbach both had double doubles, and as a team they shot 48% from 3 against the Ducks. (10/21)

UW outrebounded Oregon 45-23.

I think we match up well, but they have four live body guards to throw at Wagler and slow him down. Kepnang’s another Dain Dainja. Steinbech’s got quality at all phases.

Sprinkle flipped his roster against the Ducks and it worked. Diallo and Peterson were better with limited time.

They got Jacob Ognacevic back from early-season injury (3 months) and he hit 4 of 5 from 3.

So on their night they are tough. Do not take them lightly.

Washington is a bad three point shooting team that will only get worse with Claude out. Put a spy on Peterson on the perimeter and have everyone else clog the lane.

Also really important to note that Washington mostly wilts against good teams. USC was their best win but they were down 18 at half before USC completely collapsed.
This was true a month ago. Ognacevic was hurt and he can shoot.

They are streaky. But can be good.

Some people will refuse to accept this as a good thing. If the expectation is that he's going to go off for 20, 25+ every game....they'll be in for a rude awakening. The focus needs to be cleaning up the interior offense and defense and MUCH better ball movement and distribution. It was awesome to see a career game, but we can't survive on that mentality.

I love that the Illini read-and-react offensive philosophy is to take what the defense gives them and to force teams into picking their poison. It’s true that Wagler won’t always go 9-11 from beyond the arc, but I don’t think his next-level decision-making will regress.
As the most efficient offense in the history of KenPom, I’m hoping they don’t tinker with it too much.

If I’m Washington, force AS to take 3s all day long.
He doesn’t see the court well. His most assist in a game is 3. Have him shoot 7-10 threes.
Play up on the other 4 and sag off of him

Just heard that Keaton is replacing Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl halftime entertainment doing incredible basketball skills sets while singing a medley of Pink Floyd's greatest hits...................he really really is...................

He'll lead off with a description of where the Illini bb team is going to put the rest of the B1G teams in our remaining games . . . .
