Long as it's a WIf by “good game” you mean 50+ foul calls and 3+ hours of game time, then yes, it will be amazing.

Giorgi is one of my all-time favorite Illini, hands down.
Not a very optimistic article from the Badgers point of view. Keys to the game for them is stop everyone else, we know Ayo and Kofi will go off. So our question is who steps up for us to give us the lift, does Trent continue his remarkable play? Does ace get hot again? Grandison drop another double double? Curbelo get close to 6+ assists?

Sounds like a Badgers beat writer sick of watching boring Wisconsin-style play. Hoping we can end the Assembly Hall losing streak against them tomorrow. Not a very optimistic article from the Badgers point of view. Just a guess, some tough love from BU, bet he wished he was part of the Iowa win. Not easy for BU to do while recruiting his former teammate though. Showing his consistency as a coach, you break the rules, you have consequences. BU is my Dog!Need to have minutes for Coleman..can contribute now and has bright future. Need him here longterm and in Nimari's
I think he is team envious. And all of your choices, plus Giorgi! Not a very optimistic article from the Badgers point of view. I didn't get that at all. What I read was a well written piece that complimented a talented Illinois squad. Yes, Wisconsin does have a huge challenge on their hands tomorrow, but our style of play had absolutely nothing to do with this article.Sounds like a Badgers beat writer sick of watching boring Wisconsin-style play. You are spot on.....Our game on Saturday will be massive for the Big Ten standings. The only game (besides ours) that will affect the top ~half of the standings for the moment is #24 Purdue at Northwestern. Assuming Purdue can win, that makes the standings look like this before the Illinois/Wisconsin result:
1. #4 Michigan: 8-1 (.889)
2. #12 Illinois: 8-3 (.727)
3. #7 Ohio State: 9-4 (.692)
4. #19 Wisconsin: 8-4 (.667)
5. #8 Iowa: 7-4 (.636)
6. #24 Purdue: 8-5 (.615)
If we win, we remain in second at 9-3 (.750) and Wisconsin drops to 8-5 (.615). If we lose, we move down to third (fourth) at 8-4 (.667), while OSU and Wisconsin jump into a second place tie at 9-4 (.692).
This is a huge game. Considering Wisconsin would have two more losses than us (and FOUR more than Michigan) and Iowa is in a bit of a funk (and plays at IU soon...), a win tomorrow would put us on a path for a three-way race with Michigan and OSU. A loss puts us right back down in the shuffle, probably on a path to be looking up at the top, considering our schedule. Obviously, we could end up nabbing one at Wisconsin, at OSU or at Michigan (if it's played), but it would be HUGE to just keep the winning streak going and beat the Badgers tomorrow!
This is a game a team that wants to win the B1G has to win. No excuses.
