@IlliniInBuckeyeState the sellout tracker will actually be fun again after beating Maryland! :ROFLMAO: For everyone's reference:

2021 average: 35,347
2022 average: 43,048 (48,065 for Big Ten games)
vs. Toledo: 48,898
vs. Penn State: 49,099
vs. FAU: 53,512(apparently very inflated by giveaways?)
vs. Nebraska: 46,703 (Friday night at maybe our lowest point)

Even if there were a lot of Nebraska fans there the other week, that is a nice floor for a Friday night game after getting smacked by Purdue. Hopefully the combination of beating Maryland plus Homecoming can get the Wisconsin attendance pushing 50k.

Does anyone have any information about Kadin Feagen as far as an injury goes. He appeared to get injured at the end of the game Saturday, but I haven't heard anything about it since and he seemed to be okay when interviewed after the game. I didn't catch it if anyone asked him about it.

Probably shouldn't read into it but he seemed fine post game interviews

I won't be watching - I will be in a tux giving a bride away at 3:00 central. Good vibes department - 41 years ago almost to the day, Illinois was playing Wisconsin and I was in a tux as best man to my college roommate. As we pulled into the church, Mike Bass split the uprights to beat Wisconsin 29-28. I remember another member of the wedding party standing in the church parking lot signaling "GOOD" as we pulled in.

Predicting another Wedding Win over Wisconsin - 29 to 28.

I have ? about our qb situation. Let’s say Luke got hurt for a couple of series. Would you go with Leary or insert Paddock? I know the score would dictate. Would it be time to put Leary in for some action. Paddock will not be here next year. I would like to see what Leary can do between the lines. His brother had a terrible day against Mo.

I'll add to the good vibes! Mrs. Fighter and I got married on October 1st of last year. I was kind of nervous, too, because my Best Man is a huge Wisconsin fan! Since our wedding was not until later in the day, I designed our morning groomsmen brunch to be football-friendly - walked to Roots in the South Loop to watch Illinois/Wisconsin and Iowa/Michigan - both on at the same time, and covering all of the fandoms in our crew.

Needless to say, the Illini absolutely pummeled Wisconsin, and I could not believe my eyes! I even threw a little friendly shade his way at the conclusion of speeches, thanking my Best Man for an incredible speech, being an incredible friend and being incredibly brave for showing his face after the Fighting Illini humiliated his Wisconsin Badgers earlier that day! :ROFLMAO:

Braedyn Locke sounds pretty good, despite his parents' obvious challenges in spelling his first name.
"Honey, how do we name our son like all the other Aidens, Bradens, Cadens, Haydens and Jaydens, but still have him stand out?"

"We spell it like this...."

You are correct, sir.

~ 25 years ago I read a economics paper concerning the signaling mechanism of unorthodox name spellings. It wasn't complimentary of the motives or long-term effects on the so-named, and its conclusion was entirely politically unpalatable to All The Right People.

I also personally know a young man, now in his 20s, whose parents named him "Brenton" at birth for no apparent reason other than its uniqueness. He chose to go by "Brent" the minute he became an adult. HIs feelings about his formal birth name:

Many congrats, sir. That's a substantial deal.

As for the Illinois-Wisc tilt in 1982... a BT classic, featuring the 4Q bounce pass lateral to Al Toon, which flummoxed my eventual 1984-85 Snyder Hall next-door neighbor, Craig Swoope, that Toon (after pretending the play was dead) then chucked to his teammate for a TD that seemed to nail the Illini coffin shut.

"Wow, that's terrific Bass!"

I'll show myself out...

My absolute favorite is "anything -son"(Jackson, Erickson, Jameson, etc.) When their dad/mom's names aren't the part before.

Sure would be nice to pull this one out going into the long awaited, late season bye week.

Wisconsin still is a good team with a back up qb

Need the O Line to show up again to allow Luke and the RBs to do well

Defense seems to be playing with more confidence and will need to be ready to stop the run

Need to play smart no dumb penalties and hope the ball bounces our way and

Feagin is gonna be full go rodeo ...

Keith and Reggie only guys in jeopardy of missing the game ... And I'd lean towards Keith being Questionable as of tonight and Reggie being Doubtful ...
