QC with double digits boards for a 5th straight game (led team again)
He's 6’4 Fify
A missed desperation 3 at the buzzer? He’s even more like Keaton Wagler than we thought.
Sucky finish. Officiating was awful. Were they B1G refs???
This all day long. A "Fletched" Coleman + his motor + his feel for the game + his will to win and obvious hatred for losing + his basketball abilities = a very special weapon for the Illini. You won't be able to bump him off the glass or away from the rim. The physicality of last night's game seemed to knock him a little off kilter. Can't wait to see how he fits with the Illini's talented -- and unselfish -- group of veterans and the Illini's scheme that emphasizes offensive rebounding.Sky is the limit for Quentin Coleman. They are going to put some muscle on him the next few months.
Funny. I thought the same thing.A missed desperation 3 at the buzzer? He’s even more like Keaton Wagler than we thought.

Who is the other player? Two stats:
Coleman only needs 2pts and 3rebs in the final game to become the second USA player ever to average a double double for the event.
He also only needs 4 rebounds to have the most rebounds per game by a USA player in the history of the event.
He currently leads all players regardless of country/team in rebounds per game.
Every USA player that’s made the All Star 5 in this event:
I congratulate him for the awesome performance but honestly, my favorite thing about this is how pi$$ed off he looks that they didn't win.

The non-call and the charge were abysmal. The refs dictated the outcome of the game in the final seconds with actions that seemed intentional. Karmic justice would’ve been for Coleymahnee’s desperation shot at the end to have gone in.The final drive was not a charge either, so they got them with 2 bad calls in the last dozen seconds. The announcers seemed pretty surprised at the call. I didn't watch the tournament except the very end, so I have no idea if they had been calling those consistently that way, but either way, it's a lesson in how bad officiating can be and to do everything you can to take the game out of their hands.
I was there to see Gable lose his only match after 150 straight wins in high school and college, and that was to Larry Owings in the NCAA finals his senior year. It inspired him to go on to be an Olympic championship and to a seemingly endless string of college national championships at Iowa.Let's hope he Gables it (yes I turned the legendary wrestler into a verb)
I mean let's be honest -- they probably wanted to see the upset just like the rest of the world. The non-call and the charge were abysmal.
