Why does it seem that Brad Underwood teams always compound their problems, bad chemistry, and poor effort as a season goes on? A few months ago we were playing like no one could beat us; now we play like everyone can. Last year, we were at least respectable on defense, but as the season went on we just forgot how to guard altogether. And do I even need to mention the Sky Clark team? Something fundamental HAS TO change about the way this program is run. Maybe Brad is told by Josh/donors he has to change the assistants or xyz if he wants to keep his job. I hate to say it, but will the guys even want to come back next year after all this? There's no chemistry. Please give me a single reason why they would.

Blame Hamer and blame Tyler all you guys want. Who is the man responsible for putting them in charge? The buck stops with Brad. End of story.

This is 2022-23 all over again minus Mayer's theatrics and addiction to Monsters.

I am not at the point of firing Brad ...

Let's see Brad own that this staff is cheeks outside of OA and Geoff ... The guys he has coordinating our offense and defense stink and must be replaced ... Let's see if he does it ...

This is just my passion as a fan speaking but for those who are saying they will no longer be watching because the team is struggling you are really showing what kind of a supporter you are. Does the team only deserve our support when they are playing well? That kind of entitlement attitude is exactly why our home court sucks.
At this point, we expect our program to compete for Big Ten championships and deep runs in March.. I will not settle for mediocrity like during the Groce years. This basketball is extremely bad, we are playing undisciplined, lackadaisical, terrible basketball right now.

Fanbase has every right to expect more and consider checking out based on the results on the floor right now.

We have guys who can't really make shots at a high enough rate.

Staff picked these guys. They were over-confident they could mold this group into a successful team, and reality has come calling.

Snake-bit? Nah. Just a roster of good kids, pretty good basketball players and a couple of young but immature or injured talents that can't get it together in a very short amount of time (one season).

And so the end product is a pretty good team, frighteningly good at times, and yet over all pretty mediocre. Very frustrating for the team, the staff and fans.

How do we not keep other guards out of the paint and getting to the rim. And how many time are KJ and KB trailing them and then foul them from behind. I don't get where our defensive philosophy is trying to funnel these guys to for inside help or a tough two. Because they don't end in a tough two

Harper and Bailey makes KJ and Riley look like a couple high School freshman.

As bad as we have looked at times this year we just need to make sure we make the ncaa tourney. We are still very capable of making a 3 or 4 game run. The ceiling is much higher than the team we had a couple of years ago that lost to Arkansas in the first round.
Sorry - tough to see any run based on playing 2 good games in a row

50% of Rutgers first half points were contested two point jump shots. Those would be considered tough shots.

that's our bs strategy and earns plenty of fouls on our guards. you can't guard in the paint on your man's back. it's ridiculous
