Pru you have my sympathy.....lost my dad in 2021, and mom passed away last Oct.....not an easy time....very difficult to see them suffer, but they both stayed at home and passed away peacefully with the help of Home Health Care and Hospice. Both were huge Illini fans and during every game I watch now I can recall their comments...

Sorry for your loss, Pru. Just lost my Mom this past year on her 98th birthday. Same as your Dad, peacefully in her sleep. That's the best you can ask for. No matter how long you've expected it, it is still a tremendous loss with accompanying sadness when it actually happens. Prayers to you as you grieve, Pal.
