After Keaton's announcement
It's a reasonable assumption. From the talk I've seen, our new addition will be considered a junior for eligibility, but this is subject to change.
Thanks for doing this my friend.
My understanding at this time is his scholarship comes from football but he wants to play basketball too so he will need to occupy a roster spot even though his money isn't coming from basketball. Is Rankin really occupying a basketball roster spot?
This will rectify itself when he realizes how demanding college football is, year round these days, and he'll pull back on the hoop dreams. My understanding at this time is his scholarship comes from football but he wants to play basketball too so he will need to occupy a roster spot even though his money isn't coming from basketball.

A transfer or two and that team competes for the natty.
If it makes you feel better, I don't consider a recruit on the team until he's arrived for summer practice. Too much can happen between his commitment and then with NIL and all that. How did I forget about Morillo already? He could be a stud next year too.
I couldn't find anything definitive, but my guess is this is his final season based on how everybody's talked. He'll have played six years of college ball when this season ends, three at NAIA and three at NCAA.Is it possible Humrichous could return next year? Has there been a recent determination by the NCAA that years spent playing NAIA ball must be counted?
Sorta. Regardless if you play 1 year or 2 years at a JC only counts as 1 year when transferring to a 4 year at least to a school in the NCAA not sure how the NAIA handles it. So say you play 2 years at a JC you still have 3 years of eligibility at a 4 year after transferring.Wasn't there a recent determination that junior college no longer counted? Or am I hallucinating again?
