Yea well I didn't say I would put Ayo on him. We have a few players. But like I said the guy is 6-8. Damonte is 6-3. He isn't going to stop Cunningham by himself. And btw Damonte doesn't start. If we get the matchup it will be interesting what Chin comes up with.
We're not stopping Cunningham. Let him score 30, if we make everyone else struggle and play our game offensively, we win.

We'll likely send a lot of guys at him to keep the defense fresh. Look to double whenever possible.

Just proved that theory with Washington...although I could do without OT. I just hope “our game offensively“ doesn’t always include the FT shooting we often fall prey to.

I find it funny that we just assume that Loyola is going to beat Georgia Tech....the ACC tournament champ. Maybe we should be worries more about them? Let's just take and beat whoever is in front of us.
Exactly, hopefully BU is reminding our guys of a team by the name of Austin Peay.

Gotta give it to the committee, they teed up some exciting potential matchups for us. We'll be watching some good basketball over the next few weeks. Sure it might not be the easiest trip to the Final Four, but this team is battle tested.

UCLA and MSU in a First Four game? There's something you don't see every day.

As much as I hate them, it's still gonna be weird not seeing Duke or UK in the field.

I’m just glad the potential ok state game is the first game of its weekend. We would have at least five off days to prepare. They beat Baylor - but I think it’s easier for a team with a great player (Cunningham) to win in a back to back games situation like that. We should beat them with a week to prep.

If Baylor keeps winning they will feel like they are in the B1G. Wisky in the 2nd round, Purdue in the 16, Then Ohio in 8s.

Pat Forde at SI thinks Illinois has difficult bracket.

The draw didn’t do the Illini a lot of favors, either. After an intense Big Ten tournament that ended after 6 p.m. ET Sunday with an overtime battle against Ohio State, Illinois will have to turn around and be ready on Friday. And a second-round game with either Loyola Chicago or Georgia Tech promises to be a challenge, not to mention talented Oklahoma State looming in the Sweet 16.

All the games are going to be tough. That's why it's the big Dance. It may not be an easy schedule but it is not as tough as what they just came through the past few weeks.

While I think we got a tough draw it's not as tough as Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State, Rutgers, Iowa, Ohio State which has been our last 6 games with 3 on the road, 3 neutral.
