It sounds kind of strange. Dudek was in pads, but wasn't participating. Hopefully, it's just a precautionary thing. I reckon we will hear more before too long.

If this turns out to be another major injury, I'm going to be so dejected. What an unbelievable run of bad luck in both revenue sports. It's just soul crushing. Here's hoping that Mikey just needs a few days' rest to deal with swelling and soreness.

I'm at the point where I feel like these guys will never recover from ACL injuries. Even though Mikey may be fine, I'm always afraid they will never truly heal and they will never return to form. Plus it seems like they are so prone to a reinjury.

I hope it's not the case but I'm so gun shy about injuries because of our bad luck...I keep expecting the worst.

I'm right there with you. I feel really bad for Mikey. That's gotta be mentally exhausting and heartbreaking. He's a tough kid but still, it can't be easy to go through. Maybe he should talk to Tracy

No repaired knee ligament is as strong as the original, so anyone who has one surgically repaired is more likely to injure it again. That's why it's such a tough injury to recover from, and why it ends so many careers.

Hoping it wasn't a full-blown re-injury, but given that it's the same knee, it wouldn't surprise me.

"slight tear" is what I am hearing but I don't know what it means as of now.

Sucks.

As someone who's had that exact injury within the last two years, I think that could (emphasis on could) be good news. If the tear is small enough he may be able to avoid surgery and recover with physical therapy. He'd likely still be out 3 or 4 months, but not the 9-12 that surgery would cost him.

***Please note that I am not an orthopedic surgeon, just someone who's spent too much time with them***

I had my ACL reconstructed and during spring ball that year I was held out of all contact drills. Hopefully it was knee soreness or some minor injury that will take time. Strange to be fully suited when you have an injury.

The data across all sports shows that that is becoming less and less true. Guys come back 100% from ACL's these days, in general.

My friends, we will be fine! He wasn't even that productive last year.

In all seriousness...We NEEEED him. BAD.

this is a more accurate appraisal of the current ACL mosaic...think Adrian Peterson and Russell Westbrook.....my daughter dances professionally in NYC and made a complete recovery from an ACL and meniscus tear without the rehab resources that our players have

Hopefully that ends up being true for Dudek but with our injury luck, I still assume the worst. (Especially if they are a high impact player for the team)

From Lovie's reaction it didn't appear that significant. It could also be very serious and Lovie is just being super cool.

Paul George is back and that was about a gruesome injury this side of Shaun Livingston, who is also still playing. George isn't yet the same player but will see next year.

Paul George broke his leg. Was it pretty gross to look at? Absolutely. But it is way easier to recover from than ligament damage is

So it's now been two days since Mikey had to sit out of practice on Tuesday. I assume he did not practice yesterday either. Today the team has the day off before Friday practice.

Still no update on the severity of the injury? Dudek has been quiet on Twitter as well. Still holding my breath on this one.

For some good news, Julian Jones is back in uniform. That's huge for the LB corps.
