Blues schedule was released today. I'll post more about it later but the key dates are the season opener on October 12th at Dallas and the home opener on October 14th vs. Seattle. 3 of the 4 matchups with the 'Hawks take place before Christmas with Bedard's first trip to St. Louis occurring on December 23rd.
Blues drafted 2 C and 1 D with those 1st rounders. LGB!
Jeff Gordon (the P-D writer, not the race car driver) pointed out that, with the Hayes trade, Amstrong may be looking at a reload rather than a rebuild for this team.
Avs and Stars are still the class of the division. Nashville looks to be in a rebuild. Jets are trying to avoid a total rebuild but have gotten offers on 4 of their top players (with Dubois already gone to L.A.), Minnesota will be in salary cap hell the next two years because of the Parise and Suter buyouts, and the 'Hawks are probably a year or two away from playoff contention, even with Bedard.
