So, Cubs/Pirates, 4 game set. I can't cheer for the Cubs, but do we want the Pirates to lose 3/4? Split? Of course, the Cards need to take 2 or 3 from the BrewCrew.

Since they are exactly 4 games behind the Pirates, a sweep by the Cubs would be fine with me.

A sweep by the cubs would make things interesting. The Cubs have been real dangerous recently. I'd be nervous if they got a little too Hot.

I vote for a 3/4 or a sweep for the Cubs.

3/4. They win first 3 then get destroyed in the 4th right before the cards come to town

Holliday activated off the DL. wouldn't expect him in the lineup for a week or two though

Awesome to see. And Matt Adams is back in the lineup for the first time. That should mean a lot less of the strikeout machines, Moss and Reynolds.

Why is Yadi still batting #5? He doesn't provide anything a #5 does. And he desperately needs a couple days off. We have 3 catchers, take advantage of it Matheny.

You better start looking for a new TV because Kozma is a good Ole boy just like Jay. I really hate that Matheny plays the guys he likes instead of guys who give us the best chance to win.

Good thing tiger direct has good deals [emoji6]

I think every manager does it, but not every manager does it for a triple-a player (Kozma), and 4/5 outfielder (jay). It's maddening.

Magic number, 13....for at least another 6 hours or so. I was hoping for single digits by the end of the weekend. Looks reasonable, though this is a crazy game. Cards go to Wrigley against the back of the rotation and Lester. Pirates go to LaLa Land and get 2 of the best pitchers in baseball.
