Most news outlets are insinuating that Tyler O'Neil being given the left field spot when he returns means Dylan Carlson will probably be traded. It sounds like Dylan was pretty dejected in his after the game interview a couple of nights ago. Having said that, if I were the Cardinals, wouldn't I want to play Tyler and show he is healthy, so I could trade him? I personally think Tyler is the one the Cardinals would rather trade?!

Thought #2... Tyler O'Neil isn't bringing much back in trade negotiations and Dylan Carlson brings a too good to refuse trade package...see ya, Dylan!

What I'm trying to say is, I'd rather keep Carlson over O'Neil if possible. What do you you guys think?
Cardinals are very cold on TON. It comes down to TON staying healthy and getting him on the field to increase trade value. TON is making just under $5M this season and has one more year left of arbitration before coming a free agent. Cardinals want to move him but comes down to what they can get for him. I never hope for injuries but all it takes is a team in the playoffs/making playoff run that might overpay for some help or because of last second injury.

Said this before but the Cardinals really overvalued Dylan Carlson for years and bit them in the butt. He has 3 years of arbitration after this season and is cheap. Once untouchable is available if they get an incredible offer.

THATS A WINNER !!!!!!!!!

Cardinals win 6-4 and sweep the Marlins..................Cardinals now have a 5 game winning streak.............

Gorman with a 3 run blast.............
Arenado with an excellent groundout play on D....
Thompson with 2 good innings and got 2 double plays.......

Onto Wrigley and the loathe-able cubbies.........Cards now in 4th place with a chance of 3rd place with another series win...............

LETS GO CARDINALS

Yeah, or at least a lot that want to trade him. I'd prefer to keep young talent like him.
I live in the St Louis area and haven't heard of any hate on him. Bunch of local media called for him to have a breakout season this past summer. There will always be some fickle fans who wouldn't be happy with a prime Musial or Pujols either :ROFLMAO:

Trade talk is different matter and would actually view as respect. Gorman has 5 years left of control after this season. There is only one player I would trade him for in a deal and that isn't happening.

Gorman is an absolute must to keep on the team.........The Cardinals have invested a lot of time and $$$ into Gorman and to trade him away right now would rival the Sandy A. and Jake G. for Ozuna trade as a baffling blunder of incompetence...................

Agreed, but I don't know how he stays at 2nd long term. In my world that is where Edman should be. We struck lightening twice in row at 2nd base. Gold glover Wong right into Tommy and now we send Tommy all over the field. I get it injuries and others have stunk it up, but that is where I see Tommy has having the most impact.

So we couldnt fix Cabrera, i hope we get something for him or he goes to the american league.
otherwise someone will, probably in our division, and he'll torch us. kid has great stuff. That's been
our pattern over the last 5 years.

seems that there are a few teams that need a shortstop.... we have both Edman and a kid waiting in the wings...

I think young Jordan just learned that he won't do that again in a 5-0 game.
