Do we have 3 runs in us today?
1 so far......we need for Arenado to bat lead off and get as many AB's as possible , as he is our main batting threat , along with Contreras and Herrera...........................

just noticed your new avatar...........lololol............................

🤣🤣Kermit and I are going to figure it out.
Small ball and some Supreme baserunning has been showcased this inning. Would love to get 3 out of this inning. And there it is.

Also, lineup wise depending on R or L pitcher, I would like against Rhp
Noot
Winn
Arenado
Willson
Gorman
Goldy
Donny
Walker
Siani/VS/Edman

To me , Gorman is the key to the increase in runs per game average.........go to get him going , big time........I have lost a lot of confidence in Goldie......just seems age might have caught up with him......Hope not , but he is missing a lot of pitches that he used to scald the cover off the ball................

My biggest hope is to continue to score more runs today and get into a hitting rhythm..................

Jimmy ballgame was terrific CF for Cards, his commentary on Bally,AWFULL.Not a fan generally, seems very full of himself.
I will concede that Edmonds is not the best. At least I can listen to the telecast. I know this will be unpopular, but I mute most of the broadcast when Brad Thompson is on. There is some thing in his delivery that is offputting. He is too much of a fanboy for my tastes. I will admit that he is better with Chip than with Dan.

I have not changed my offseason projection/hopes. I think the Cards are an 81 win team. As eveyone knows this would be a 10 win improvement over 2023.

Mikolas with a 6.49 ERA and .311 BAA. Nice $40m extension Mo. I can't wait for POBO to move on to another role and let someone with better talent evaluation skills take over. Early Mo was pretty darn good but from 2015 on he's been awful. The number of smart moves he's made have been dwarfed by multiple instances of complete stupidity. And before the door hits you in the arse do not, I repeat do not, sign Goldschmidt to a multi year extension. "So he can retire as a Cardinal" is not something I give a damn about. So we can win a few more World Series before I die is a lot more important. Rant over.

I have stated numerous times about the decline I see in Goldie's AB's............His bat is slower through the hitting zone and the % of hard hit balls has to be alarming..........Goldie and Gorman are K machine's right now , but I have hope in Gorman turning it around soon ........Not so hopeful about Goldie .........I sincerely hope I am wrong about Goldie , but I doubt it.......JMHO.....

Yesterday Cards received 8 walks and 1 hbp. Should score 10 runs with that kind of charity but they could only muster 6 hits. Cards have scored 20 less runs than the Pirates and 35-40 less than the Cubs, Reds and Brewers! Only the Brewers pitching staff has given up less runs than the Redbird staff so amazingly that hasn't been the problem.

It doesn't help that they are 29th in HRs (Thanks Chi Sox) and 25th in OBA. Pitiful.

Hopefully Gray can stop the bleeding today. I've been pleasantly surprised by most of the pitching. Gotta start rattling the bats!

Sonny Gray , SO FAR , is proving he's worth every penny paid to him ..........would love to see another Cardinals pitcher getting 20 wins in a season.............if he locates like today he has a chance.....especially if our bats ever get untracked.......

I was just able to sit down and watch the game up in Milwaukee. The place I’m at was not easy to find a tv with the game on. Just watched Gormans last AB, he is lost.
