Make or break year
Gorman - did not produce despite being handed 3B .194 7 hr 26 rbi
Walker - Miracle recovery .303 17 HR and 52 RBI - living up to his AAA hype
Nootbar - TBD

Winn .232 2 HR 25 RBI - trending wrong direction in year 3
Weatholt .248 9 HR 27 RBI doing great for rookie
Herrera .244 7 HR 28 RBI. Not bad not great.

Still time
Church .253 5 hr 18 rbi rookie
Scott .194 2 jr 9 rbi year 2 may not have a MLB bat (.216 last year)
Pages .212 being replaced by Jimmy Crooks and Pozo(?)

Crooks , Bernal and Rodriguez are next wave of catchers coming to the MLB........Expect one of those 3 to be traded and other 2 to blend in with Herrera in the next couple of years......RR get's the nod as the long term catcher prospect.....only 19 and already in AA Springfield...........looks to me like Pages and Pozo will be traded at this years deadline.......plenty of teams looking for catching help right now.......

Listening to the game on the radio while driving. Gorman came to bat in the 6th and Rooney said “all he’s done today is strikeout”!
The last three batters for the Cards in the 9th were Crooks, Torres, and Church. Who the hell are these guys? It's hard to keep track of who's coming and/or going? Can we keep on winning with the lineup in this ongoing state of flux? Where's the stability? Looks to me like Marmol deserves a lot of credit this season.

How about Dansby Swanson to play third base?

It remains to be seen what he can do but he has to begin sometime.

I want Gorman to succeed if for no other reason than to up his value as trade bait.

Blazzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeee , way to go kid...........it really really is...................

Just what I called for. Burlie with a walk to tie and Walker with a big hit to extend his hitting streak.

They just showed some stats on Burleson. Over the last 162 games....
Avg .296
HRs 25
RBIs 101
OPS .825
RISP Avg .313

Not too shabby...
I have seen a lot of people elsewhere, who continually devalue Burleson's value. I have been on his band wagon since day 1.

it's 3:23 am.......meds not letting me sleep......nightmare Cardinal game might have something to do with it also.......IMO , probably Marmol's worst decision making game so far this season.......hindsight notwithstanding , I think he pulled Graceffo too soon......yeah , he had walked 2 batters but most of the time he wiggles out with minimal damage by seeing his 1.96 ERA......

to then bring in Stanek , who was having a good stretch of appearances , lit the HR derby fire on the Twins bats........my question is why did he leave Stanek in so long.......Romero had pitched 2 days in a row and got lit once....ok..........I get it....

why not Royster who they just called up......if no confidence in him then why call him up.....?????

just a bad loss after we had came back and took the lead......

I didn’t think he should have brought Leahy back for the 6th inning.
