I did think about saying something tongue in cheek similar to, watch now we will win the next 2. Baseball is such a fun game. You can have so much go right, and at the end of the day still lose because you didn't produce at the optimum times.

tomorrow being the 15th of August , the Cardinals should call up Baez now and get him some playing time to see how he does against MLB pitching......DFA Prieto for 40 man roster slot for Baez ........stick him in LF for a while.......

Think it’s the right call on Baez… he’s definitely got some scary warts, but even if it’s a bad first trip, wouldn’t be the worst wake up call in the world.

Yes, I’ve been excited about this guy since they drafted him. He looked exciting in high school, anyway. It will be fun to see his start, but with his strikeout rate and all that adrenaline today, it could also be ugly.

I know they're not exactly the same type of player but Schwarber has a fairly high K rate but I'd take the same type of power from Baez.

As a baseball fan, I’m excited to see Baez get the call. As a Cubs fan, not so excited to see him debut against Chicago. And as someone who has Boyd on his fantasy team, really not excited to see what he did in his first AB.
