Bench Humrichous. I don’t care how much he costs. Riley starts. Then DGL and Morez before Brickhouse

I don't think Tennessee is number 1 but they are good. I think there are a handful of teams better. Don't get me wrong. They are top ten good. How could we stay that close and shoot like crap? My guess is there will be a few more bumps along the road. To be honest with, I am surprised the game was as close as it was. I too like where this team is at now.

You could say call the timeout after the free throw, but it gives them a chance to draw up a play. And then if they make it after a timeout is called then everyone here would say “how could Brad call that timeout at the end of the game there? Gotta let them scramble and play it out!”

Let's face it, we are turning into a Football School.

If losing at the last second to number one when no one played great collapses your team then you weren’t a team to begin with
Correct. But doesn’t mean that’s out of the question at this point. See: 2022-2023 team.

He's 6'9 and didnt have a rebound til the dunk. I watched his man get offensive rebounds at least twice on him but I would bet money there were more than that.
While I agree he should have more rebounds, he wasn't the only one completely out of position for defensive rebounds. It was a team letdown overall.
There's room for improvement as a team.

Brad said on the radio that he wishes he would have called a TO, FWIW.

OC needs to teach fundamentals, such as inbounding the ball. It happened throughout the game. Didn't improve after halftime.

DC needs to teach fundamentals, such as blocking out. It happened throughout the game. Didn't improve after halftime.

Eberflus needed to call a time out so the defense could be set. He was motioning guys down to slow the progress of bringing up the ball, which resulted in guys being strung out. He drove past them one at a time and made a lay up.
Edit: Underwood. He reminded me of Eberflus this evening.

Tennessee came in averaging 82 points and shooting 52% and we held them to 66 and 32%. The defense has been really solid all year but the offense is lagging behind at this point.

The original post was Morez should get more minutes. We can all sit around and circle jerk about how the whole team should play better.

Zooming out a bit, Ivisic looks really solid and KJ is obviously an absolute star. We have some other solid pieces as well, but our 2 other big time talents need to develop into stars -Riley and Morez. Keep giving those 2 minutes and we could be dramatically better in another month.

Not sure if this showed up on TV, but before we threw the ball away at the end of the game, BU spent nearly the entire timeout yelling at/ complaining to the ref about a call. KJ then throws it away out of the time out.

There's plenty of blame to go around here. But at such a crucial point of the game, I would have preferred our coach to be coaching our guys instead of yelling at the refs.
It did show on TV and I noted it in the game thread. 100% agree with you.

They need to split about 15 of Ben's 30 minutes IMO. I'm sure others will disagree. I do agree that they need about 20 per game. Riley got that tonight and if MJ can improve his FT making and limit fouls he could get the same.
