I'm sure he wasn't sitting around eating fast food and playing video games the last two weeks. Shouldn't be an issue.Glad to have TSJ back. Hopefully in the end of this mess he will be exonerated. For those expecting TSJ to go off against Rutgers, I’m not for sure he even plays. He hasn’t practiced with the team for 3 weeks. Does he have to go through conditioning and a few practices before you even play him? When he does play I believe you work him into the lineup.

Agreed. This isn't an accusation on Twitter. This was a formal charge. And those Charges haven't been dropped. When they do... Which I hope they do... That's when we really should be celebrating the most. TJ is still living this nightmare. He just gets to play basketball. He wasn't suspended simply because someone accused him of something. He was suspended because he was charged and arrested and because of an ongoing criminal investigation.
You know TSJ is going to have a raging fire inside him. That will 100% spread to his teammates. I wouldn't be surprised if he finished the season around 25PPG and still gets his AA status, along with B1G First Team. Edey has B1G POTY and Naismith locked up again. Thank goodness a sasquatch like that only comes around once a decade or soConfident/improved/experienced Coleman, Marcus, Q, Justin, Ty & Luke supporting TJ is going to be a PROBLEM.
This group has serious potential to win a national title.
For the record, when Mitch Gilfillian speaks, it comes from the mouth of a Peoria-Area Parochial School Basketball Legend.
Do you honestly think that he wasn't staying in tip-top shape? He wouldn't have an insanely early start in the gym everyday, just to stop when this BS happens. Just because he couldn't practice with the team doesn't mean he didn't play with them outside of team activities. I have a strong feeling that he comes in hotter than when he leftGlad to have TSJ back. Hopefully in the end of this mess he will be exonerated. Actually, a complaint was filed, an arrest warrant was issued, and he posted bond. He has yet to be formally charged. That would happen at the preliminary hearing. He wasn't suspended simply because someone accused him of something. He was suspended because he was charged and arrested and because of an ongoing criminal investigation.
Same thing. He was charged and arrested because someone said he did something. What's the difference? He wasn't suspended simply because someone accused him of something. He was suspended because he was charged and arrested and because of an ongoing criminal investigation.
LMAOFirst the earth cooled, then the dinosaurs roamed the earth...
Like it or not, plenty of cases are tried and won based on the testimony of the accuser (if the DA and ultimately the jury find the accuser credible). It helps if there's some circumstantial evidence that supports parts of the accuser's story and doesn't contradict any of it. That's the situation here based on what's public.I could tell a restaurant manager that a waiter told me to kiss his behind, should he be fired? Stupid.
Since you said this in response to someone cautioning against prematurely crowning him a returning hero, I think what you mean by this is "I haven't seen enough evidence to convince me." Because if there was video of a Michigan player clearly raping a woman, but he was allowed to play and was treated like a hero by UM fans because he hadn't yet been found guilty in court and/or hadn't yet been before the school conduct panel, we would feel very differently.Innocent until proven guilty
The expectation is that he is back for the rest of the season
Can you explain what the difference is? I'm curious.Same thing. He was charged and arrested because someone said he did something. What's the difference?
I think that you're going to get a lot of this. Outside of our circle, national analysts, for at least a little while, have to tread lightly.Liking Goodman less and less.
I N to the MFin IShout out to our fine country’s judicial system. Shout out to the local gym that kept this young man in game - ready condition.
I L to the MFin L!
If you don't think there's a difference between an accusation and an accusation that led to a charge/arrest, then we don't have much to discuss here.Same thing. He was charged and arrested because someone said he did something. What's the difference?
was at the lehigh game with local gilfillan’s when they played in champaign many years ago.. mitch played wellFor the record, when Mitch Gilfillian speaks, it comes from the mouth of a Peoria-Area Parochial School Basketball Legend.
