The use (and googling) of one of the witnesses names was the instance that I thought was more of a problem, less the assistant DA.Don't use the public officials names in the name of privacy?
Preach, brother.Everyone take a breath.
Probably asking the impossible in some instances.Everyone take a breath.
easy to say, harder to do. It is such a jacked up situation on so many fronts.Everyone take a breath.
Tomorrow's game needs the get here ASAP. If we blow FDU out and Josh offers his words of wisdom, the temperature will go down substantially.Everyone take a breath.
Who do you think the Chief ASSISTANT District Attorney works for and carries out assigned tasks for? You're the third or fourth person to bring this up. The charges were filed by Jennifer Tatum, the Chief Assistant District Attorney, NOT the DA you're talking about. Probably worth noting before you go too far down that rabbit hole.
I was walking the concourse before Braggin Rights and saw JW about to pass by. Already feeling pretty good from pregame buckets of Anheuser-Busch products, I yelled, "Josh! Josh!"Josh is the dryest most straight forward person I've met. Doesn't drink, awkward, I'd expect nothing less than the most air tight, professional, legal response you can get.
Bronze tablet IIRCYou all realize Josh has a law degree right?
Yep, and a practicing attorney at the outset of his career, here in D.C. IIRC.Bronze tablet IIRC
Well, this just provided a lot more questions than answers.I just watched a clip on WCIA. Alleged incident Sept 9th, complaint wasn't filed until Dec 5th and warrant yesterday. So were the cops even called Sept 9th? I curious about what information is coming to warrant an arrest?
If they have evidence, the police were called. They police gather evidence that the DA uses to decide if they can bring a case.I just watched a clip on WCIA. Complaint by the accuser wasn't filed until 12/5? Smells bad.I just watched a clip on WCIA. Alleged incident Sept 9th, complaint wasn't filed until Dec 5th and warrant yesterday. So were the cops even called Sept 9th? I curious about what information is coming to warrant an arrest?
He likes giving big hugs. I could use one of his hugs today.Josh is the dryest most straight forward person I've met. Doesn't drink, awkward, I'd expect nothing less than the most air tight, professional, legal response you can get.
Not unusual when sexual assault is at issue. People sit on all sorts of trauma, sometimes for decades, before even acknowledging it happened.Complaint by the accuser wasn't filed until 12/5? Smells bad.

If cops were called regarding rape then if there was probable cause why wasn't he arrested? I have my doubts they were called unless it was after he left.If they have evidence, the police were called. They police gather evidence that the DA uses to decide if they can bring a case.
I'm guessing the evidence was gathered early on given his lawyer saying that he's been cooperating, but the DA didn't decide to file charges until recently.
Edit: it'll be up to the DA to bring criminal charges. The accuser can only bring a civil suit after the results of the criminal trial. The timing of this doesn't have to do with her.
I'm just telling you what I remember from my one semester of criminal law.If cops were called regarding rape then if there was probable cause why wasn't he arrested? I have my doubts they were called unless it was after he left.
I agree with your comment, however, the opposite is often true also. Practically 90 days to file a rape complaint is suspect to me on it's face. JMHO.Not unusual when sexual assault is at issue. People sit on all sorts of trauma, sometimes for decades, before even acknowledging it happened.
No one has any idea in this case, so no point in speculating IMO.
