The font on the back was the rebranded font so he was wearing the "right" visor. There is no visor with an updated I and font to my knowledge.

I've gotta be honest - when I heard "wearing the Star Spangled Banner", I envisioned something that was orders of magnitude worse than that.
At first glance, it looks to me like a chain mail armor type design.
I don't get the shoes? Is there some significance with that pattern?
