Seriously.. we should have a coach hired and introduced by Tuesday mid-day. If we don't, then people should start to worry. Whitman is just waiting for the week long process to end.

I'm a pessimist by nature. I have this overwhelming feeling like we're about to whiff on all of our big name big time coaches and end up with Drew or Underwood. I know, good coaches but not someone to take us to next level. Hope I'm wrong, but just can't shake that feeling.

Very much so. Explain to me how Underwood would do in recruiting? What has he done in the past to suggest he could be a winner at Illinois? Same goes for Drew.... He's an up and comer but so was John Groce. Heck, News-Gazette beat writer at the time went so far as to say Groce was a superstar in waiting and a great recruiter. We've been down this road before.
