I will say, underwood won a few upsets in the tournament with SF Austin and dominated his conference. OK ST went 12-20 last year, in his first year they made the tournament with a lot of the same roster. Impressive if you ask me.
If you think Underwood would be a great hire, then you have very low expectations for this program.

Never past the second round with all those great offenses and genius coaching ability. Freaking Groce and Weber at least made it to the second weekend

Flight scheduled to UNCW this afternoon from Willard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So... We have a flight due to arrive at Willard tonight from Jacksonville.
https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N816FG
This plane is owned by N816FG,LLC.
The registered agent in the state of Illinois for N816FG, LLC is Thomas Clarkson of Urbana.
According to LinkedIn Thomas Clarkson is an accountant at Flex N Gate - Kahn's company.
Obviously, this is a common itinerary for this plane, but... solving the flight watch puzzle can be a lot of fun.
Why the heck would Underwood leave after a year? When was the last time something like that happened to a P5 school?
Just totally wishful thinking, will never happen, but I wish we could get Michael Jordan or similar as coach, if there is such a thing. We would have all the very top recruits and Michael would do a wonderful job. Cheers
I think he may be a great hire. I think he has a pretty impressive resume significantly improving upon his predecessors' work very quickly at each stop. I think everything I read from people who know basketball is effusive about him. I think there's reason to believe he's a much better gamble than the flashier named Cuonzo Martins of the world. I think your comment that in order for Whitman to choose him he must have whiffed on all his other targets is ignorant.

Underwood is a good coach yes, but Whitman has 25 million to play with. He's going after the big fish. Underwood would be plan B or C if he is even on Whitmans radar.
I don't have the time or energy to hand-hold people through why it would be impressive to rip a first year coach out of the hands of a program at Oklahoma State's level, let alone one who took a dumpster fire and turned it into one of the top offensive teams in the country.
If only some noble hero were willing to argue for hours with 11 people at once to drive home this point.
Next week will either be Easter, Good Friday, Halloween, or Thanksgiving. Get all your decoration boxes out of storage right now.Man, I hope we know by Monday. This is like Groundhog Day meets Christmas Story and everyday is December 23rd...:hand:

So people are really starting to lose their grip. This board would be a great example to present to a sociology class.
