How long will it take?

You think an anouncement today means he has an imminent hire?

Cubit was fired on a Saturday, Lovie hired on Monday.

Not many targets who aren't dancing. Monty on Monday would be eerily similar.

I said this in the other thread, but if Whitman was trying to make him the highest paid coach in college, that's huge. Means he has a blank check to work with.

I suspect you're correct, though I'd leave Sean Miller off this list.

Last time (2012) when from March 9 to March 28. Hopefully quite a big quicker this time around though.

No, it means he had booster consensus around Monty Williams.

Very possible this whole process just exploded to smithereens in 5 minutes.

For those who don't follow the NBA, Woj is one of the most reliable sources there are in that arena. Maybe there's a chance he's incorrect here but I seriously doubt it.
