Completely forgot about him sweeping all the sexual assault cases under the rug.Yeah, how about we add Sandusky as well

Currently a 64-year-old graduate assistant at ClemsonSaw that Terry Bowden going to La-Monroe I think.
Reportedly the University president overruled the AD, who wanted to hire Brent Brennan, because he has some close personal relationship with Fisch. Bad bad bad.
I couldn’t agree more Altenberger! With Bielema now in place, I prioritize recruiting as #1. As such, let's get some premiere recruiters on staff!
To temper things on the coaching side, however, South Carolina's defensive ranking the past four years in the SEC:
2017 - 6
2018 - 10
2019 - 11
2020 - 12
Out of 14 teams, quite obviously.
Who?If not Robinson, look for Lewis out of the STL area, who most recently coached on the Arizona staff
There was that night they laid a beating on RG3 and Baylor. While I am not opposed to getting Scheelhaase on the staff, I am not sure I would characterize him as someone who "recalls what football success was like at Illinois."
Time for the Brian Urlacher rumors to begin again.Like a HOF at Linebackers coach and retaining some of our current coaches.
Most likely Jason Taylor cuz we just offered two of his kids.Time for the Brian Urlacher rumors to begin again.
I was there that day, deep in the heart of Texas. Had to run through a Houston monsoon to get to the bowl game. There was that night they laid a beating on RG3 and Baylor.
An Evanston HS stud linebacker may also be recruited (persuaded) by Pat Fitzgerald, an All-American linebacker, and now head coach for the hometown Wildcats. I'd probably bet on PF.Professor I'm only guessing, but I believe the HOF linebacker coach he's referring to is Holecek. Holecek is in the Chicago Sports Hall of Fame. He would be a solid option for linebackers coach: coaching experience (albeit high school) and a solid NFL career. Plus, there's a 2022 stud linebacker at Evanston Township (not too far from Loyola Academy). Maybe he knows the ETHS coach and would have an in with the kid. Also, I'm sure any rising high school linebacker would listen to a recruiting pitch from Holecek. Could talk about being a member of one of the best linebacking crews in college history and played 10 years in the league. He could tell a kid he'll coach him up and possibly get him to the league. Plus, we're building something special at Illinois, come make history. Not a bad pitch.
NorthIllini makes a great point too.
Parents of Loyola kids have consistently told me that Holecek loves that job and wouldn't leave it for a college positional coaching gig. I was in the car travelling from the Rio Grande Valley to Dallas that night. Listened to the first half on the radio and saw the 2nd half beatdown on TV. Corey Liuget was a man among boys that night.I was there that day, deep in the heart of Texas. Had to run through a Houston monsoon to get to the bowl game.
One of the few great Illini football memories of the last 20 years.
Jason Taylor is rich and happy and newly married to a Dolphins cheerleader half his age. He is not leaving to become an overworked grunt in Champaign, IL.He's obviously referring to Jason Taylor, the dad of the two kids we offered today...
I agree. Just because he's a former player, doesn't mean he'd be interested in leaving a very stable situation for a precarious one such as Illinois. He may be more vital for our success where he's at, if BB chooses to prioritize his region.Parents of Loyola kids have consistently told me that Holecek loves that job and wouldn't leave it for a college positional coaching gig. I think Holecek mentioned in a recent interview that he might consider options only after his kids were out of the house...don't know ages of his kidsParents of Loyola kids have consistently told me that Holecek loves that job and wouldn't leave it for a college positional coaching gig. He got into coaching when the olderst started high school and has been one of their coaches since (https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports...or-madison-join-st-thomas-20170330-story.html). Much more likely that he wants to keep coaching them in college than Holecek. Holecek was offered a spot on Lovie's staff and other staffs before and has said no. (https://www.news-gazette.com/sports...cle_bb49fcfb-0258-5e2a-a2cd-7d69020f2788.html) What reason would Holecek have to come on board now?Jason Taylor is rich and happy and newly married to a Dolphins cheerleader half his age. Neither of them have any reason to want to join the college coaching profession when they are both comfortable and happy middle-aged fathers. He got into coaching when the olderst started high school and has been one of their coaches since (https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports...or-madison-join-st-thomas-20170330-story.html).
