Maybe it is SOP, but I like that Jamison mentioned one of his next steps is to contact all the DL’s parents and loved ones. Really speaks to creating a family atmosphere and accountability to the families.

It's likely SOP, but going out of your way to mention it isn't.

This is someone who wants people to know relationships are important to them.

Wasn't this the coach that many were pumped about potentially getting in some capacity earlier in the coaching search? Or am I not remembering that correctly? Ace recruiter I'm hoping/assuming?

He was discussed earlier in this thread as a hire who wouldn't be announced until after the DC hire. People seemed generally positive on him.

Aaron Henry was named on 247's College Football's Rising Stars: The 30Under30 back in 2018.

He's a pretty strong recruiter. He's done pretty well at getting quality recruits at less desirable universities. Also is probably going to be the point person for the Southeast: has commits from Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

I had discussed him fairly thoroughly.

TL;DR - DBs will love his personality, decent recruiter. I have reservations about his actual coaching ability as I never saw a significant improvement from his players at NC State.

I think he is amazing guy personally and wish him well, just not sure how effective he will be.

Pairing him with Walters could be a really good thing then.
