This is the first I'd noticed this, but on this picture it looks like there really is something on the sides of at least the silver shorts...

Hadn't noticed that before. Looks like a vertical bar with dots on both sides going up it?

I mocked the uniform up sans zig zag. Definitely too plain, but with a stripe or two think it'd look way better than the zig zag.

In a perfect world, we'll debut the silver's vs Mizzou and the other alternates against our first ranked B1G opponent.

I'm a fan of the zig-zags on the orange, but I think it looks awful on the blue set. Anyone else think the same?

I'm actually the opposite. I think it's much less dominant on the blue than on the orange, which I like. Just a neat effect there, whereas on the orange it becomes a focal point.

My gawd, those stripes are about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Like others have said, if the players like them, that's all that really matters, but they are about the cheesiest thing I've ever seen.

Love the grey. They look sleek and modern.

I'm with you. The grey im on board for, but I'm not all that impressed with the rebrand as it pertains to basketball. Oh well.

You obviously never saw the Pittsburgh Steelers throwback bumble bee uniforms.

Not a fan of the gray. Not our team color, so never really in favor of that.

Orange looks too busy IMO.

Overall, underwhelmed

I wish they were turquoise with stars.

I'm with you on this. For all the complaints on here about seeing the block :illinois: without the curves, or other issues with the new branding not being implemented across the board, why folks are okay with gray baffles me.

Because gray and silver were added as secondary colors as part of the rebrand.

For those wondering about the holes, my guess is the ventilation holes. If you have a pair of the previous shorts you'll know what I mean.
