Just so I am clear, aren’t these non-recruiting staff positions not allowed to coach in practice or game settings?

Feeling pretty darn good about our staff. Can't remember any school having to replace all their assistant coaches (excluding new head coach hires). Nice recovery from Underwood. Very glad Whitman has his back.

One hire left. Should be interesting.

End of season AC's....................OA , Chin and Gentry
UK comes sniffing.......reports of issues among AC's......
UK poaches OA and Chin...........Zags get Gentry............
1 position left outstanding

Illini hire Chester Frazier
Illini promote Alexander
Illini hire Anderson
1 position left outstanding

Color me impressed with the job Brad and Josh have done under difficult circumstance's .......................

Frazier has had a major impact already and I'm sure we will hear great news with Alexander , and Anderson after he officially starts on the 25th or 26th.....

Looks like we have a solid staff that will be together for 4-5 years ..........................

Going from memory here so I can’t say for sure, but I believe 3 assistants are allowed to be on the practice floor at a time. So if one of the assistants is on the road, this final position can step in. I don’t think they can do any in game coaching. Someone correct me if this is wrong.

There was a special exception for this summer that allows non-coaches to help out in practice;
