No kidding- to be clear he seems like a high talent guy (He was the 119 ranked player in the country coming out of HS, how many of those are we getting these days?) who’s time at Texas was plagued by injuries and now just got passed over by other talent that has been able to show it in the field with a new DC that didn’t recruit him.

I’ll take a guy like that any day - high upside with experience starting for a year at Texas and ready to play right away physically in the big ten

Texas LB Ayodele Adeoye has entered the NCAA transfer portal

The Missouri native missed most of his redshirt sophomore season with a shoulder injury that required surgery.

So we’re potentially getting a transfer from ND and Texas in the same year- how often does that happen! Talent level is going up on D!

Dele is a done deal ✅

Bellamy is not however, so therefore Houston is not. The good news is that Mike is still making contacts and operating AS staff!

A solid turn of events and a very excellent chance he gets announced soon...

Bellamy has his hands on too many top recruits. Petersen has grown a liking to him and so has BB.

Also, more transfers may jump in the portal that Bellamy is already working on through the back-channels...

QC is pretty spot on from what I hear. Also...notice Bellamy went 2 or 3 days without using the illgang hashtag and now all the sudden it is back.

My only concern with Dele would be if Mizzou comes in hot. Pretty attractive destination right now unfortunately. 95% sure he comes to Illinois. Leave 5% until he publicly commits.

There's so many things to like about it, tho. The illegal jersey number, the little half-twist on each shot, the way he watches that last shot all the way to the end as if there might be some divine intervention that will make that shot go in or at least hit something besides the support structure.

That dude's arms are bigger than most peoples legs. I like it.

I really liked this part from the 247 article on the transfer:

“It’s a dream come true,” Rosenthal said. “I grew up on Illinois football. My dad’s an Illinois alum, my grandpa went there. I grew up watching games with Juice Williams and Rashard Mendenhall, so Illinois was always like my favorite team growing up that I always dreamed of playing for. To actually have it become a reality is absolutely amazing.”
