Does anyone here watch Maron on Netflix or IFC? Great show imo.

I liked Maron. Like most shows from comedians, the tone mirrors their act. This one is easy to binge watch if you can tolerate his worldview. He's not exactly anhedonic, but he's also far from positive.

His standup special, "Thinky Pain" is on Netflix, too (last time I checked).

Hoboken squat cobbler. Comedy gold. Great season, excellent show that is only going to get better.

Speaking of great shows, The Americans is finishing up another very strong season.

My personal favorite show of all time. Seasons 1-4 are top notch.

Just finished the first 4 seasons. What a show. Im a little disappointed that there must be a drop-off of quality in the final seasons as you pointed out just the first 4 seasons as "top notch".

Best episode for me was the season 2 finale when the baby was being born in the blow up pool. Comedy Gold!!

Oh man, with the Tiger Woods fist pump? Classic!

And while I'll admit there's a drop off, it doesn't fall off a cliff. If you like the show in general, you'll like the last 3 seasons. I really enjoyed RZA in season 5.

This is great news. Best to watch it with subtitles. Cillian Murphy can do no wrong.

Kids went to bed early a few nights this week. Checked it out. Really liked it. Less capable actors and it would be hokey, but it's very well done. On to Season 2.

Just saw a brief advert for the 12 Monkeys series on SyFy network. Loved the movie. Is SyFy available to cable cutters? I have access to Netflix via my PS3 and watch sports via BTN/ESPN apps online. Been thinking about getting a Raspberry Pi and loading one of the Kodi builds. Anyone have experience with that?

Can't wait for Peaky Blinders to start up again. And Marco Polo starts on July 1st.

Anyone watch Turn: Washington Spies on AMC? I think the first 2 seasons are on Netflix too. Pretty good show I think.

Also, is anyone caught up with The Blacklist? Finale is this Thursday. With the recent events, I really don't know what the show is going to turn in to. I'm kind of disappointed.

The main recent storyline involving Liz was done to write her out due to the actress who he plays her needing time off for her own pregnancy. I'm sure they'll find a way to bring her back.

As far as Tom goes, that whole storyline with him is setting up a spin-off that's supposed to debut this fall involving him and Scottie.

Just finished Californication. Second favorite show of all time. By far the most I've ever laughed out loud watching a show.

I thought the ending fit the character and trend of Hank perfectly.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your #1?

I can't decide what I will start next. Maybe Dexter or The League. I always struggle to invest in another show right after I finish one.

I'm really enjoying Orphan Black right now. I guess it's sci-fi, but i have a tough time really pushing it into a particular genre. Can't wait for the 2nd season of Mr. Robot, and am enjoying the most recent season of Vikings as well.

All that and I still haven't touched the newest season of House of Cards....

Me and the wife just started watching House of Cards together.

We're about halfway into the first season of Peaky Blinders. Started out a little slow for my liking (a lot of get to know the characters and set up storylines type stuff) but now it's getting very good.

Both are great choices. Dexter is an all time great and The League is hilarious. The league wont take you very long since they are like 22 minute episodes.

Can't go wrong, either way. Can easily switch between the two. Skip the last season of Dexter.

Great news. The BBC ordered seasons 4 and 5 of Peaky Blinders. If only Steven Knight can be convinced to do 8 episode seasons. 6 is entirely to few.

Each episode is an hour long, though. Longer than most series' episodes, certainly. (I'd love to see more, too, though :thumb:)
