At the game.

Announced as first sell out in arena history....10years.

Yes they stormed the court.

Yes they talked smack in the crowd.

Time to turn the page.

Was at game along with about 200 others in orange and blue. It was a very loud and rude crowd. We left with a few seconds to go. Knew they would tear the place down. Tacko got by with several muggings. Good luck and thanks to our seniors. Now onward and upward.

Thank you for so much seniors for everything they have done. Its officially brad underwood era of Illinois basketball. Malcolm Hill should be a fan favorite for many years to come

Tough to see Tracy go out that way. Couldn't get anything to stay down in the last 10 minutes.

I was having that same problem watching this whole game. :hurl:

Oh well. There's a new sheriff in town and hopefully he will clean up this mess. Can't wait to see it next season. :thumb:

Any comments from Walker about why Kipper did not play?
Sounded like one of those classic undisclosed team rules/discipline issues.

Malcolm 9-18. Everyone else 10-44. Ouch.

I'll remember Malcolm as a tremendous player who needed a little more help. Tracy as a gritty warrior that fought through tremendous adversity. Maverick as a guy who really improved and became a very good player as a senior. Thanks guys.

bigillinfan11, what's the significance of your Adam Wainwright quote paired up with the Underwood quotes?

Was at the game tonight. Long time Orlando resident but bleed orange and blue. Couldn't get anyone to match MH efforts. He started slow and the team never caught on. Made a run at the end but dug a hole to early. Any reason for Kipper not playing?

This ^^^ Rarely have been a complete team hitting on all cylinders. Always felt the talent was there but could never put it all together. Hopefully this will change the next year and moving forward. The season has been entertaining at times but it is time to move on to a new era.

There's a video floating around on twitter that may explain it all from last night. Looks like 6-7 players involved.

Thank you seniors for all the hard work!!

If Abrams...or JCL could've hit anything tonight...we probably win. Hill's a helluva player

JCL hit some beauties in the first half. i was at the game and they looked so slow in the first half walking the ball up against that team is UNFORGIVABLE!!!! The 7ft 6 guy was already set in position more than 5 seconds before the ball crossed the center line. If we pushed it they were tired they only have 6 scholarship players for crying out loud. We never pressured the ball either full court or had any sort of half court trap. if the ball did get into the big guys hands on offense he looked pretty lost with it if he couldn't dunk it. All in all a pretty poor showing regarding Walkers ability to run any sort of quick tempo offense. As they say look forward to seeing the kids who are returning run an offense that moves the ball at something other than a crawl. i think they will know for sure "it is hard to be great"

Bingo! Not a very good game plan for this team.

Thanks for all the effort Seniors and team. Sounds like another dud game from this fundamentally flawed offense that gets us this type of production every 3 to 4 games at the least. Hopefully Brad Underwood will fix this major issue!

JCL will have to learn to play defense if he hopes to play in Underwood's system. He plays
too much "Matador" defense. He must also must develop a short range jumper. I do not
understand what has happened to AJ's shooting. He shooting ability was much better last
year. I hope that he and Willams stay with the program because they came with so much
potential. I liked their attitude even though their playing time was limited. One of my main
criticisms of Groce is the young players did not improve significantly over the past two years.

That is the big question: Did Groce (and staff) fail to develop their potential OR was Groce just misguided in not giving Williams and Jordan enough playing time to grow into the college game OR were these guys just not as talented as advertised?
Well......which one of these three is it?
