This article was linked in the Big Ten Geeks piece on Underwood' defense but its amazing how much of what is mentioned in the article applies to us right now: not holding leads in 2nd half, foul rate, and weak side defense. The one reassuring aspect is that BU has been part of big changes in mid season.

Thanks for sharing. Eerily similar to our situation right now. At what point do our defensive mistakes and silly fouls go from "still learning" to "this is who we are"?

They are learning more every game, and the fact we have been in all the games says volumes. Cleaning up fouls and turnovers, with some better shooting, we win those games, and we can win more in future. The ball denial, is great . Maybe we back it off some and switch to some zone , once and a while, we will get some game flow and rythmn. Shooting will come, these guys can shoot, they just not falling. All in all , like the aggressive style, just being out of control, makes it hard to watch at times. Have a few more games to clean it up, and trust the process and all involved.#wewillwin ;):illinois:
