Figure out how to win when our 3 pt shooters are off. It’s a recurring issue with our beloved Illini

Can't overstate how bad the "effort" and loss was today. Won't be any B10 titles or 1 seeds this year. Really thought we had turned a corner last week; we obviously need KJ back badly.

A team that openly states championships are the goal needs to refocus and internalize that effort has to be an every game thing. This was all the result of the effort at the outset of the game. And I don't want to hear about overreaction, bad fan, how fans should react yada yada. It was clear from the start our team didn't take this game today seriously and were not committed to 40 minutes of effort. It's been an unfortunate characteristic of our teams the past few years; we play down to the competition very often. Can't do that at this level no matter the opponent.

Lol just a completely embarrassing effort. Got completely outworked and bullied on your home floor.

Don't get me wrong USC has some talent and Muss also thoroughly out coached Brad(also just gave the template for beating this Illini team).

Obviously missing Kasparis hurts but the Illini are going to have a ton of variance with they way they play. The chuck a ton of 3s but they are an extremely mediocre 3pt shooting team. They are going to really struggle with any team that is big and physical enough to matchup with them(spoiler alert - most of the good teams are).

That Duke game is going to be a bloodbath unless Illinois has a good shooting night.

Hopefully all the national guys who don't pay attention will just write this off as a "no KJ" loss.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's that simple.

I couldn’t watch the game…what is the analysis on how we let Claude score 31?
