Musselman seems to have our number any time we play a team of his. separate from that, poor & low effort game today. need to get the bigs to step up on offense in the paint. someone needs to finish at the rim when our 3s aren’t clicking. hoping this is just a bump in the road from a young team.
Wondered if today was a ‘he’s close, but it’s USC and we just beat PSU by 40 without him, so let’s sit him out of an abundance of caution’.

Always seem to have a loss like this every season, and it’s frustrating.

Stop me if you've heard this one before. We lose to an inferior team on our home court and make it much more difficult to win the conference and get a really high seed in the tourney.
My glasses are always orange tinted, but this is beyond frustrating. IMHO these types of losses are what keeps BU from becoming a truly ELITE coach.

Reminds me of the flyin' Illini, when Kendall Gill broke his foot against Georgia Tech. The Illini went on to lose 4 of 6 with him out. However, when he came back it was a real shot in the arm and they ran all the way to the national Championship game (which they lost to a Michigan, team that they had beaten handily, by double digits during the season, and who's coach had quit just before the tournament-- but I'm not bitter!)

End of story. Whoever wants to argue that is trying to make themselves feel better. This is the exact same team that best PSU by almost 40 just a couple of days ago.
Yes guard play and defense was not good, but the fact Tomi only had 3 rebounds in 17 minutes is baffling. He should be embarrassed by that.

We absolutely deserved that trash dunk at the end.
Literally nobody had a good game- DGL might be the only one you would say showed up. When all of your players play below expectations it’s going to be a bad game. What worries me is we didn’t have anyone to step up when the team is playing bad and we let one guy on the other team beat us singlehandedly

What? Losing at home to a team that likely won't even make the big ten tourney when you are supposed to be the big ten title favorite. This is flat out a horrible loss by any standard.
Pathetic effort. Basically confirms every fear I've had about this team. A crummy loss that will gnaw at their resume all season now. Going absolutely nowhere.
Lotta pearl clutching here. When you get outworked all game you let that happen on your home court.

USC turned off our water, didn't allow bench or single player to go off. No easy tips by our bigs abd no driving layups. Missing opn 3s don't help.
