Perhaps this is a bat-stuff crazy thing to say after a loss to a CUSA team, but I didn't think the problem was a lack of adjustments or a lack of fight. Maybe we withhold the sky-is-falling, that's-so-Illinois talk until the problem is clearly one of those two things?

Tough loss. A Lovie Smith led team gets their doors blown off.
Call me crazy, though, I still feel really good about the direction we’re headed. I’m not leaving a game like this as pissed off as I used to when Lovie was coaching.
